Default Re: Influencing a Quest

One thing I have noticed is that the world of layo is very flexible if you have a creative mind, my characters for the last two years have been very limited to play time because I work during the day, or worked during the night, usually when plot quests are being run and couldn't attend. I hardly worry about those anymore, but more try to develope my own character in ways that can help those who are.

aka School in Port Hempstead, teaching, scribing scrolls. I may not be right there, but part of me feels as though it has an impact on the world around me because of the small contributions I am able to make.

Something else that really helps is sometimes trying not to be the center of attention like a few I know, who seem to always be, it can backfire on you. DM's sometimes will make it a point to notice the quiet ones and give you a chance to shine as long as you emote, and don't just tag along. Be your character as much as possible.
