RE: Multiclassing I would agree with Wolv there. There is a difference between switching back and forth and changing classes forever. P&P makes that distinction. So too should we. People change. Just because you've decided to stop being a paladin doesn't make you stand still in time. I can see not going Fighter/Paladin/Fighter/Paladin, whatever. It means you can never have your alignment adjusted. Which means you're forever locked in how your first made your character. Makes development across different plains very difficult, and turns you semi-twodimensional. You can't grow in many directions if you're trapped in LG for example.
