Caringue, a dryad at one point was turned to the flesh of a human by a sorceror for whom he still holds contempt. Shunned from the grove and thrown out into human society, he is bitter and cold, and furiously worships his deity Xeen while striving his best to perhaps one day be restored to his former state. He believes that by adventuring in the name of Xeen, he might one day accomplish this task.
