Short Bio/Description:
Malentor D'hunmir is what you would describe as a deviant, at least in the Moon Elf society from which he hails. He has always been different, mainly in his view of the world which is strangely affected by his affinity for adventure. Cast out at an early age from his home because of arguments with nearly everyone of higher standing within his family, he swore an oath to himself that he would never return even though his seemingly unquenchable hunger for knowledge urged him to return to the great libraries of his home. He found himself in the god Rofirein, The All-Seing, and finds comfort at Rofirein's statues as well as in silent prayer.
Now as a traveller, Malentor mostly finds himself without much company apart from his familiar, and is happy as such. Finding comfort in books and teachings where he can find them in, he strives to further his ways as a wizard, and doesn't care overly much for a good part of the world. As long as he has his books, a good meal and the occasional companion with whom to discuss, he is content.
Large of build even for a Grey Elf, Malentor has the characteristic deep grey hue of skin as most grey elves have. His hair is dark, with a slight streak of blue to it, and his eyes are like the amber found along beaches on a cold morning, reflecting the sunrise through misty clouds.
Mostly wearing informal clothes, and robes without many ornaments, Malentor is not one wanting to impress others through majesty of appearance, rather he wishes to inspire awe in those who have understanding of lore and magics by divulging his own talents at rare occurences. He is as such a rather shy character, but shares the contempt for other races his grey elven heritage has bestowed upon him.
Restless as ever, Malentor is looking for adventure, on his own or together with those few friends he has, he does as he has done every morning since being cast out from his home; picked up his bags and started strutting along the nearest path hoping to encounter more wise things to study or fearless creatures to slay. |
