Faldoran finds himself in Layonara with only vague memories of his past life, not even sure of his own surname. He's a good soul by nature, with an inquisitiveness quite normal for a gnome (how things work, why something is as it is, etc), and exploring the world is an extention of that. Generally light of heart, the vagueness of his memory can weigh heavily upon him at times, although he jokes about it with others.
