Born on Brenzik of Dry-Forge in 1302, Zubnik Graniteskull was raised in a small subterranean mining community. Under the watchful eye of Vorxx, Zubnik learned the ways of the warrior, and joined a band of brethren to answer the “Call to Arms” against Sinthar Bloodstone in 1354. Returning home, the sole survivor of original contingent, Zubnik discovered that his village have been pillaged. While searching through the devastation, Zubnik was ambushed by a force of Orcs, viciously mauled and left for dead.
Zubnik was rescued by an unlikely ally. A Gnome scouting party witnessed the attack, transported his battered body back to their settlement, and after several months of intensive healing, brought Zubnik back from death’s dominion. As Zubnik recovered, the Gnomes introduced him to the ways of Shadon, and trained him in the subtle arts of the rogue.
Zubnik realized that the Gnome community, to which he owed a great debt, was not where he belonged, and with a heavy heart, he set out in search of his destiny!
