In other words: Yes.

Duelist would describe the skills, but not playing style. Swashbuckler describes class, style, character motivation, and what I hope will be the playing style at that point of Elirianas career.

The point in question being around level 8 if ranger ambidexterity can be used to meet swashbuckler feat requirements. From there on, the plan is to get to Ran 3, Brd 4 and Duelist 7 at level 14. From there on, we will see.

A little leeway to take in what happens in-game (deciding if the final balance between ranger and bard is 4/6, 5/5 or 6/4 at level 20) would be appreciated, but I would understand if that is not an option.
