ilwé is the son of fazriel, a Az´atta priestess.He is born just short times after his mother was fleeing with a little group of drow followers from the wrath of the clergy of vierdri ira, who wanted sacrifice them for theirs heresy for the glory of the great mother of darkness.
The first years of his life was hard. The little group was always in flight, and slowly but surely dimishing because of the danger lying in the underdark.
from this tomes have ilwé little memories.About 3 years after his birth, the group find shelter in a little cave below the forest of sielwod.During the years after, Ilwé was educated in the ways of drow (how to survive in underdark, how to use his inner abilities, etc,,)at the exception of the religion who was the precept of az´atta and not of the wicked goddess.
Al was good at this time and while growing ,ilwé beginned to ask question about his father.fazriel has only telled his father was a mighty wizard but of his fate has she never answer.Ilwé have only remarked that she looked sad when she speaked about him.
Ilwé showed a great interest to learn legend , story, and song .He was joyful and showed a little bit excessive enthousiasm.
He was about 40 as disaster strike again.The clergy of vierdri´ira fund them and struck.During the slaughter only his mother and him got the opportunity to fly. Knowing that living in underdark wasn´tpossible for a lonely drow with her child, fazriel taked the choice to go to the surface with the hope to find a better place.She knew that followers of az atta was accepted in some area of the surface world.
Alas, shortly after beiing on the surface world, they was attacked by a group of trappers who misunderstand their true nature, beliving them as part of the raiders who destroy their camp.
Ilwé only survived because his mother sacrified herself to win time for him to flee.
After some days of errance, a clan of gnome fand him close to death. Good hearted, they choosed to adopted him.
during the next 80 years, ilwé was raised by the gnome, learning their culture and living same a menber from his race.With his curiosity and love from good story and jokes, ilwé eard in his heart the call of shadon.
In the last years before his adventures begin,ilwé accompagned (under a mask of illusion)always the gnome handlers who cisited the nearby cities. He have begin to understand the immense diversity of the world. Now, with his eternally curiosity, he have decide to leave his gnome family and discover the vast world
