Default Looking to the Lake

The first rays of sunlight,
Break through mist and dew.
Dispel reflected moonlight
And shine with every hue.

This humble little bay,
Revealed by fading mist.
Reflects in every way,
All that can't be missed.

Restfully calm and clear,
Certainly no wake.
I hold this moment dear,
While looking to the lake.

As time comes to pass,
Our Sun slowly breaks;
This moonlit mirror glass
And picture perfect lakes.

These winds of change do blow,
Picking up their pace.
Explaining what we know:
That nature rules this place.
