I think it's valid to talk about one's death and the resulting traumatic�condition as a real part of the world.� Then there is "true-death", which would be what happens when the Soul Mother claims the last tenth of your soul. and you are gone, gone, gone.
For example, a character your character�strongly dislikes is waiting to get over the debilitation caused by death:� "Gee, it's a shame it wasn't the true-death."
