First off, you need to define you alignment better. Neutral Good, True Neutral or Chaotic Neutral. Bearing in mind CN is restricted and I must be honest from what I read here it sound CN.
Secondly you said you were recruited by mercenaries at the age of 17. Though that is possible it is very unlikely for a group of mercenaries to hire a totally unexperienced fighter as they have to share their coin and would likely rather look for someone experienced. Perhaps elaborate on their reasoning for choosing you.
Thirdly you said you left the mercenaries after approx 3 years. Why did you leave them to go live on the streets. Surely being a mercenary would have been a lucrative lifestyle.
Lastly I would like to know more about what you did for the last 5 years on the street even if you dont tell it to the drow.
Also tell us a bit more about her personality. I could assume a lot of things here, but would prefer you telling us.
Thanks

1.) Sorry about the alignment, I always thought of Neutral as TN. 2.) I didn't go to far into the mercenaries due to not being familar with mercenarie groups in Laynoara. I also did not want to be a pain and attract too much attention from the GMs and simply develop my character along the way in the world of Laynoara. Now if you have mercenarie bands in your world that are willing to work with me, that is wonderful and I would love to get tied in. Other wise I wanted to keep in simple. As far as being recruited by the mercs, I had in mind the mercenaries being a small band trying to make a name for themselves and in need of raw talent willing to learn. Taking on a few here and there for their special qualities. A female willing to learn and do what ever it takes might be of intrest to a small group of thugs/mercinaries. I did not have in mind for these mercinaries to be a well developed strong band who are often hired by the king to save the lands...=) I had more in mind a band of thugs/mercs who were at the bottom of the barrel and trying to make a name for themselves and needing people willing to join them. After all I am coming into the game as a level 1 rogue, not a level 10 =). 3.) This leads to leaving the mercs. They never made a big name for themselves, Millan out grew them and learned all she could. It was simply time to move on. As far as living on the streets, I didn't mean that literally. I meant these streets are her new home. I would presume there is an inn she could be staying in with in the local town. As far as what she has done for the last 5 years. I would really like to have connections with a local rogues guild and go from there. Get in, earn my way and keep. Again for the same reasons I didn't want to bother the GMs with a smiple concept nor try for crazy demongoddaughters ect ect =). I would be willing to lower the age if need be to 20 and I really want to get in game and find a rogues guild =). I wanted to build the character in game off the concept. 4.) Finally the personallity. She is cold, calculating, and unforgiving. She is not hateful, nor is she evil by any sense. Her hard life has made her empathetic, but by no means sympathetic. She sees herself as strong and independent because she survived the trials of her life thus far. Because of this she would never do a "good deed" to help someone. She feels it would only weaken the person she would be helping in the end. That is why her allignment lies towards true neutral. She wants to strike a name for herself and make it on her own. Charity, hand outs, and sympathy for her being a woman are not tollerated by her. She died the day the men came and burnt her home. It is a new day and life for her, one she will make on her own. Hope that helps.
