about how your character got to be where they are today

short:
a beautiful, selfcontent, materialistic young Seaelfmaiden
is wrecked by a potential lover and gets involved in renewal
through a tempeldancer course where she ended up training dexterious skills
in the tempel of Shindaleria and did various messenger mission for them
through this taste of travelling she discovered the truth about all the
evil in the world and started training to fight back also.
she is not a talker, but a mover (an emoter - playwise).
she very idealistic, but have no understanding of more weaker willed people.
a born terrorist. hopefully forever sneaking around hitting hard for Good in this world.

how you grew up and developed into the person the character is today

Lessie grew up in a big family.
She was seldom the focus of attention within the family,
a typical elder sister, but not the eldest, meaning that she
was to look after her little brothers and sisters, but not
involved in the family decisionmaking as her other 2 twin sisters.

this developed into reason 1 for her to become an adventurer:
decide for herself, and not ANYONE else in her community decide for her

outside in the SeaElven community of the Bay of Cyan
she was a sexy, slender, girl surfing the waves and getting a lot of
attention to her looks, and very little attention to her intellect
or opinions about the larger community and the tempels of Shindaleria.
She was fond of jewelry and her outward looks. That was were she
got to score social points and rise in her group.
But 1 day when she dated one of the intelligent SeaElven males,
named Jurathan, she wanted to mate, she realised everyone regarded
her as beautiful, materialistic and stupid.
(the night of Jurathan she now regard as the turning point)

reason 2 for her to become an adventurer:
be seen as someone wise, idealistic and intelligent.

first stop: the tempeldancers of Shindaleria

a great slender beauty and an eager swimmer and diver,
she soon developed a special sense of movement,
like a dancer among the waves.
this interest in movement was what brought her first to
Shindaleria, as some of the tempelkeepers was organising
a dance in tribute of their Goddess.
She realised that dance was the essence of all movement,
and really of all types of communication.
Then she started noticing how people communicated also without words.
By bodylanguage, by facial expression, by small movements a keen watcher
will notice by the corner of her eye.

the inner truth

and in the training, in the swirling and in the gentle waves of her hands
she found the true meaning of the Goddess in the peace of the endless ocean.

she was often sent out with messages to communities further away
the priestesses could sense that this girl was meant for something else
more often than not she would evade sharks, sneak into caves, both underwater and above
to give the scattered people of the SeaElves messages from their temple.
A messenger she started as.
A messenger of the oceans, of the peace and of the silence.

the discovery of evil in this world

slowly Lessie discovered that there exist greater danger than sneaking past swordfish
in the underwater caves or avoiding aligators in the oceanswamps.

her anger was awaken
and her inner peace was broken

then came the call of the Dragon

with all her grace, quickness and the vision of the ocean she started a journey
a journey she will walk to the bitter end
she is angry now. very angry. but silent.
like a storm. awakening in the horizon.
in the eyes they can see it. anyone who comes near her.
or when she talks about Good and about the goal of inner peace around
the fires at night with her comrades.

Lessie left the tempel, her community and her family.
She left to defend where she came from, and where she is going.
For her this war is just a middle stop.
She want it all. Career, Family, Homeland Security.

She is tired of being the beautiful, dexterious girl of the waves,
getting all the whistling and the looks from the boys.
She is angry, she has a mission and she is determent.
