Life, and it's funny twists. Well, I got my replacement hard drive back, the folks at Seagate got everything back for me, which is great, one of the few times I've felt smart for buying an extended warrenty program.
On the home front, while I have been gone though, the company that owns the place where I work has sold this particular facility to another healthcare provider, and since I am maintenance and groundskeeper here, my job was one of those that got the axe by the new company, which sucks, because my lodging was included in my salary, and, being jobless, theres no way I can afford to stay in my old home now.
But, the revolving door of opportunity swung around and cracked me on the backside and dumped me right in the middle of several great opportunities. My family and I are moving about 300 miles East, to a new town. My wife will be local to her distribution center for the things she does on E-bay, which will save us about $800 a month in shipping fees, and I fell on my face and landed a great job with a major insurance company being a network technician, my salary tripled with this new job, and my father owns a house that he had been renovating to rent in the city we're moving to, which he agreed to outright sell to us.
Bad part about all this is my job is going to have me traveling three weeks of the month. My territory covers Montana, Idaho, Eastern Washington, Easters Oregon, and Northern Utah, which means my time for Layonara is going to be next to nill.
So with that being said I'd like to thank Leanthar and everyone else on the GM team for allowing me the opportunity to work on the GM team and give something back to the players who make the world great, and to everyone that helped me get along in the early stages you have my heartfelt gratitude.
I still plan to play, but since my time will definately be sporadic I just don't feel it's fair to try to maintain a GM position, and my family will come foremost on my week off every month.
I look forward to the time I'll get to spend here, just going to be less of it.
