Ok I Downloaded all 3 programs mentioned.
I opened nwn in clobber with Cleave open and yet no chat log.
I also logged in with the other on open and yet all chat logs are 0 KB.
Is there any chance someone can post a walkthrough for us computer dumb?

I think you forgot to add a line in the nwnplayer.ini
Under your [Game Options] section in the nwnplayer.ini add the following line:
ClientEntireChatWindowLogging=1
