I agree with Desicardo. Ive been on other servers and this one is by far the most challenging and enjoyable. Not just in the combat, but the crafting system as well. The team has done a good job of ballancing the challenges and given us a lot of variety. The mechanics are well thought out (with the possible exception of making arrows
)and there is a great sence of satisfaction when I level in one form or another. At the same time the player base is friendly and interactive. The people on this server have a habit of reaching out to each other on so many levels, whether new players or old. This is more of a community than a game. When I first came to Layo I was pretty clueless, a lot of times still am, but the players that went out of their way to help me out either with advice or with their time made the game. It is really easy to see faults with something, especially if its all you know. While I don t always agree with the decisions made, this world is a special place and the team really does deserve credit for making it what it is.
