A small tool that I just created in 15 minutes or so:

Text Cleaner for Layonara

Just paste your text from word into that page and push the "clean" button.

I bet it's not handling all the weird cases, but I hope it's working well enough for most purposes already...

Edit: Changed a little... read the warnings!
