In the top right of every thread, just above the top post, are a number of grey dropdowns, titled "Thread Tools," "Search this Thread," "Rate Thread," and "Display Modes."

Under "Thread Tools" is "Subscribe to This Thread."

As to subscribing to calendars, I don't know if you can. If you can, though, I'd love to know how, too.

Seeing everything that pops up would be handy.
