I’ve played D&D in many forms for the last fifteen years and GM’d for a considerable chunk of that time. I’ve created three worlds, had one of those destroyed, and I get a lot of enjoyment from making my players go, “What the ... ?!?!?!?” I also really enjoy making “bad guys” and, as I’ve said, I think it’s a real compliment when people tell you they really hate or love one of your NPCs.
I came to Layo after getting sick of the MMOG scene and all the marketing and hype, not to mention all the smoke and mirrors. It just wasn’t fun any more. The first time I heard of Layo was from nwvault. I’d gotten back into area building since I wasn’t playing MMO’s much and there was a very encouraging write-up that mentioned Layo. It was the first place I looked at and after experiencing it.. the last. I’m honored to be given this opportunity to contribute.
Interests.. besides Layo and PnP.. I eat, breath and sleep computers. I like rollerblading, fishing, camping, cooking and spending time with my wife and kids. I also design stained glass now and again.
Eorendil, my avatar of choice, is a character of mine from way back. He has a few different incarnations these days: Sorceror/Arcane Archer, Ranger or Fighter/Rogue. It’s also the alias I use in a lot of different places and has been my main character in MMO’s since 98. I’ve played him in a few MUDs/MOOs as well.
*taps his foot and thinks real hard* Oh.. quests. Riiiiiiiiiight. Suffice it to say, on my quests, your characters will definitely be living in interesting times.
