Bio/Description:

Jaden grew up in Shoufal, surrounded by the deep traditions of dwarven culture. He found himself a bit of an oddity, however, and a lot of people noticed it. While his love for Vorax is complete, others of the same faith tended to look down on Jaden, for he was the diametric opposite of the famed Champions of Vorax. Where they were (usually) simpler in mind but stouter in the sage sense of the God, Jaden had a quicker mind but not quite as sharp amount of common sense. Where the champions found themselves relying on their force of presence, Jaden was rather agile for a dwarf and found that to be his greatest asset.

It became clear that he was not "champion" material, but as he grew into young adulthood, Jaden came to a realization: This label of champion was one created by dwarves, not by Vorax himself, and he believed that as long as he held the Battle Father's tenets true to his heart, he could be as much a champion as those with the official title.

This line of thinking also caused Jaden to realize that the Shoufal 'tradition' of only grudgingly accepting outsiders after many years went against what Vorax stood for. The battle father accepted ALL who fought with valor and honor, regardless of race, so when he became an adult, Jaden left Shoufal. His goal was Pranzis, the 'capital of the world,' and the whispers and things that he'd heard about the place made him think that maybe this was THE place he could find acceptance as an honor-bound warrior, and maybe find others like him.
