Full Name: Gwindor (Startip) Skyreach Age: 315 Class: Wizard Race: Gray Elf Alignment: Neutral Good Deity: Aeridin Bio: Born in Mistone, North-Western Greypeak Mountains in a secluded and solitary Village of gray elves. Gwindor was raised almost like any other, except for his schooling in the basics of the weave and arcane matters that started at a young age. Although his studies were long in the number of years, ranging for almost fifty years from his 40th birthday, the time between the study periods could range for almost a month to two years, this was because his mentor had other matters in mind despite the eagerness of Gwindor to learn of the arcane. He found the faith of Aeridin at a young age by his parents' influence, and has always shown his respect to his god, but that could come to a change now that his life has changed dramatically. Vary and not very fond of "lesser" races, as Gwindor hasn't had contact with them, and has heard only rumours and ill-words from his kinsfolk. Despite of this he has been taught the Common language, and of course, the elven language. Gwindor is comfortable in the company of his gray elven kin, and at the presence of other elven races except for the drow. Moved away from his village as first his father, and then his mother died of old age, as they met each other at an old age (even for elves), but decided to make a love-child nevertheless they knew he would see them at their deathbeds before he was old himself.
When Gwindor was 274 years old, his father passed away from time to eternity, and his death was followed by his mother after 19 years. Gwindor was prepared for this to happen, and secluded himself into a smallish tower of his uncle's, whom had been long dead. There he had found his uncle's books concerning the weave, the arcane and even some written spells. He lived of the land of the mountains in seclusion until he turned 315 years of age. Ogres and ettins assaulted the tower when Gwindor at one winter's night, and sacked it to the ground. Gwindor escaped only by mere chance via a potion of invisibility and careful moving between the ransackers, and took along his personal belongings and his meager spellbook. From there he travelled back to his birthplace, only to find it attacked too. As the only child, he did not bother to look after and for the possible survivors, and instead decided that it was time for him to move away from the mountains to gain power and strength in the low-lands of Mistone, in order to exact a just revenge for his kin. And just a couple of days of careful travel towards the towns of other races', he found himself a nice small cavern where to take some rest, and he found himself drifting to a deep slumber, only to find himself in front of a colossal being.. a golden dragon.
Description: 5,5 feet long, slim. Silver hair, amber eyes and pale skin. Not particularily agile and of slender build, which makes him not very strong physically. Very smart, somewhat wise and of good looks and when in a correct mood, quite charismatic.
