Bio: Maher grew up in a small farming community apart from most of the rest of the world.
There he lived a peaceful life with his parents and younger brother Aaron. All this
changed however at the age of 13 when his village was attacked by a group of slavers, his mother hid him
and his brother Joshua in the forest nearby. Somehow they were able to escape unnoticed by the Slavers.
His mother and father were both taken captive however and Maher swore to one day free them. Because
of this commitment Maher decided to ally himself with the God Toran due to his sense of Justice and
his desire to help the oppressed. He has an undying hatred of slavery and oppression. While he has
been practicing the sword his Brother has been studying the arts of Magic hoping that someday they
can free their parents from slavery.

Maher is Neutral Good because his main focus is to free the opressed and end the suffering of
others, he will do this even if the law is against him. Therefore he cannot be lawful.

Do you have more than one brother? This seems to indicate you do but then you have in a later section that 'your brother' is learning the ways of magic. Please explain the discrepency on this part of the post.

It would be nice to see a few more sentences (perhaps a paragraph) of how he was brought up while the family still existed.

Maher was brought up as a Blacksniths son making various tools for the local community. His mother was the town herbalist and tried to keep everyone healthy. There family was very close and according to the rituals of their village they were to be a family thoughout time and all eternity. This made it even worse when their family was seperated by the slavers, the thought of someone trying to break that union seemed to evil to bear. There is the consolation though that eventually they will be together again. Maher was just learning his trade at the side of his father when the slavers attacked. His father tried to hold off the slavers while his Mother tried to get her children to safety. Maher does not know what happened to his father but he does know that his mother is a slave.
Mahers brother Aaron seemed to be more interested in the Herbs which his mother dispensed. At the time of the raid he was only 10 but he had already learned much of his mothers craft. He has an unusually sharp intellect, thats probably why he decided to reach into the arcane arts. Aaron is at the age of 14 now and has apprenticed himself to a Wizard named Jehoakim. The hatred of slavery burns deep in Aaron as well.

The town itself was rather ordinary. It was very small and almost unknown to everyone in the world. The villagers lives were very simple and they tried to ignore the rest of the world hoping that the rest of the world would ignore them.
