Bio/Description:

Cryndo was raised by his mother, Ondela, from the time he can remember, first living in a small farm on the outskirts of Gundburg. Cryndo and his mother farmed the small plot of land without any outside help. During this period of time, Cryndo asked on a few occasions about his infancy and his father. His mother broke down and sobbed each time Cryndo asked about his early years. To this day, Cryndo has no idea who his father is or why his Mom can't tell him of his past.

Life was difficult for Cryndo and Ondela in Gundberg. You see, Cryndo was born with a "deformity". Cryndo's eyes glowed a bright yellow and his skin was unusually dark for the area. He was teased mercilessly and his mother was looked upon with scorn. As Cryndo grew, Ondela saw the strain his deformity was putting on him and decided they would just get away. Ondela, knowing who Cryndo's father was, was concerned that the endless abuse heaped upon him might lead him down a path she didn't want him to travel, so she decided getting away from civiization was the best remedy.

The two of them left Gundburg in the middle of the night and headed southeast. The two of them lived off the wilds in the Southern Greypeak Mountains. Eventually, they holed up in a cave that provided them shelter. It was at this point that Cryndo noticed he had unusual vision. He could see in the cave with no light source without difficulty, while his mother could see nothing. They lived in the cave, living off the land and would occasionally "borrow" what they needed from goblin tribes in the Goblin Wastelands or bandits on the road from Fort Llast to Hlint.

Ondela brought her son up to be a good person, but to look out for himself. He tends to be distrustful over anyone except his mother, whom he loves dearly. Cryndo acknowledges the existence of the gods, but doesn't actively worship any diety. He most closely relates to Aeridin, but doesn't consider himself a follower of The Lifegiver.

Cryndo is now 6'3" tall and of medium build. He has jet black hair, and his skin is only slightly lighter than that. Cryndo has a suit of Leather armor that he borrowed from a fallen bandit. The armor has saved him on more than one occasion. He wields a short sword by his side, and carries a dagger within his boot. He has become quite proficient with both as well as the shortbow he slings over his shoulder.

Last week, Cryndo went on a hunt and when he came back to the cave, his mother was gone. There were signs of a struggle. A piece of his mother's ripped clothing was by the entrance and a small reddish-brown stain lay on the floor. Cryndo went out to find his mother, but the tracks went cold quickly. Cryndo has set out to find Ondela and vows to search until he finds her.
