Bio:

Life is never easy for a woman of the barbarian tribes, especially if you are stronger than most of the lads your age, and they all think you should be picking berries and drying reindeer while they are all out practising swordplay.

Karana is what can only described as a large lass! That said it is finely hewed into muscle. She is tall, even for a barbarian woman at six foot three inches. She has long golden hair that most men would kill for. That is until they see here face. She has a face that was rudely compared to parts of the elk other than its soul. This has given her a hatred of most men who seem unable to consider her an equal even after she has bested them in feats of strength.

It was her desire to prove herself that led to her fleeing her tribe after the death of her father. She only took his greatsword. Alas even a woman as physically accomplished as Karana could not stop her captured by a clan orcs. She lost her fathers sword and begun the life as a slave. The period was a strange one for Karana, for though she was but a lowly slave it also became apparent that the orcs respected her for both her strength and her looks (this has more to say about orc preferences than it does Karana). The manual labour for the orcs, forged Karana's already strong muscles into something special.

It was this special strength that allowed Karana to kill two human slavers (to whom the orcs had sold her) and make good her escape.

Karana has now learnt that she cannot survive on her own in the wild and has come to the city in search of work. Karana's first few days in the city has increased her dislike of men, especially the small scrawny insignificant little runts found here in the city.

Karana seeks to prove that she is better than any man, and it is her burning to one day return north and claim leadership over her tribe. However before she can do that she needs to wipe away the stain of failure from her soul. It is towards this end that she seeks experience and worthy companions that on day will help her on her quest to retrieve her fathers great-sword from the orcs.

Karana is distrusting of most especially men. That said, once someone has proven themselves she will become a fierce friend and forever loyal. Life's knocks have given Karana a strange outlook on life with a constant need to prove herself, but she is basically a good person, and as a result of her own taunting is quick to aid the tormented.
