---Personality---
While Treana is a follower of Toran, and strongly believes in the value of the law, she sometimes feels that the literal interpretations of the law do not fall in line with the spirit of the law and thus are imperfect, wrongful interpretations. Her heart is to uphold justice and peace, as well as personal freedom for all those she may encounter even if their beliefs differ some from her own. She does not tolerate those that prey upon others only for their own advantage, however, and she will often chastise such persons with a strong tongue. She believes all races should be able to learn to co-exist in mutually beneficial societies that compliment eachother's strengths and weaknesses.

Because of her own tendencies to judge too quickly, she often acts rashly on the spur of the moment. Often these acts leave her to wonder later if what she did was the right thing, replaying the event in her mind over-and-over until she decides she must either seek forgivness for the act, or that it was justified and right to do as she did. Her mood changes often as a result, going from hopeful & optimistic to silent, brooding, or downright cranky, to sorrowful and full of remorse or to self-righteous and back through the cycle again.

She has a sharp mind and an agile body which she often disguises with a practiced act of clumsiness and slow-wits in order to decieve would-be foes into believing her an easier target than she truly is. Her sense of humor works along with this act and she often makes 'bad jokes' simply to watch the reactions of those listening for her own amusement when she is among those she views as friends or when she is making new ones.


---History---
Treana grew up in a small farming community along the frontiers that constantly endured raids by orcs and goblins. As a result of these raids most of the townsfolk became adept at fighting off the frequent raiding parties to protect their families and their crops. Even older children were trained to handle either blade and/or bow to assist in fighting off the aggressors if the need should arise.

In her 16th year the goblins and orcs overcame their own differences and united in a concerted effort to overwhelm the small village she called her home. In the resulting skirmish the town's defences were overun before the alarm could be sounded and most of it's homes were razed, burning whole families to ash in their sleep. Though her own family was on the far side of the village from where the fighting began and were lucky enough not to be caught in their beds, all but Treana fell that night to the cruel blades of the orcs & goblins.

Of the few villagers who survived to eventually fight off the raiders, most perished from festering wounds received in the fighting or of starvation in the hard winter which soon followed. As soon as conditions permitted travel those remaining and able moved from the village into safer lands, leaving the village abandoned in their wake. The journey was long and hard, and several more died along the way. Treana's own fiance, who had sustained serious injury during the raid, perished during the journey to leave her grieving and alone.

For the last three years Treana has wandered from town to town trying to find a place and a way to settle down. Unfortunately the loss of her loved ones continues to unsettle her spirit and keep her moving, though the pain of her loss has begun to fade with each passing day. It has been during her journeys that she has recently been introduced to the Toran faith as she traveled along with a paladin of Toran for a few days, though it was her own upbringing that instilled within her the strong respect she has for the spirit of law and order.

At first glance this woman appears to have a rather clumsy nature, however careful and continued observation will undoubtedly reveal her movements are finely calculated and controlled to a degree that parallels feline grace. The smooth, rounded features of her face emote an underlying kindness despite her piercing gaze that speaks of a serious personality that means business. Though she is usually clad in armour which hides the bulk of her body, one might easilly guess that underneath it all are finely toned muscles that serve to move her own weight and that of her gear with relative ease.
