From birth, Arian Tulmus, had it easy. His father, a rich merchant, had settled into a nice mansion on the outskirts of Port Hampshire with your mother, Alisa, a tailor of some reknown. From birth, Arian and his brother Aiden were pampered and cared for. They received a fine education, and were taught many skills when they grew up.
Aiden grew to be a strong man, and his father brought in a respected trainer to teach Aiden the ways of combat, whilst Arian, with his high intelligence, was taught by a scribe the ways of books and scribing. It was during this when the scribe discovered Arians magical potential, quite by accident, when Arian touched a glowstone of the Scribes, and was amazed to find he had somehow activated it.
At the discovery of magic in the family, Arian was immediately apprenticed to Alinmeir Tendril, a powerful mage and friend of his fathers.
For many years Arian was taught the magic, and although he excelled at it, everyonce in awhile, he would sneak off to train with Aiden, and became rather proficient with a greatsword.
There was no favouritism within the household, Arians mother and father were seldom home, leaving the two boys to find ways of entertaining themselves. The two got on very well, and often joined small Militia hunts for Goblins and Orcs.
But only last year, something changed that. Aiden fell in love with a local girl, he became smitten and head-over heels. Within a few months, the two were married and Aiden hung up his sword to work within his fathers Trading business.

Arian was left to his studies, and sorely missed the little adventures he used to have with his brother. His master, Alinmeir, noted this, and began teaching Arian new things, Alchemy and Enchantments, and ways of combining his swordsmanship with his magic. Before long, he became quite formidable.

Arian is highly intelligent, and a very patient man. He has a fear of water, from an incursion in a fishing boat with his brother, and dislikes people being picked on. He is fascinated with his crafting, and enjoys the out of doors.

His name Shadowhawke, he made up whilst traveling. His brother suggested making a fake second name incase they.....misbehaved whilst they were away.
