Although quiet during his childhood, Jabra was often considered something of a Maverick. He would often wander unaccompanied through the forests, sometimes for days at a time. When he around the homes, no-one could pick his mood from one day to the next. He would tell no-one why he left, and indeed, he would often disappear without warning. Many suspected he visited the Wild Elf tribes on his frequent excursions, because of the nickname he gave himself - Jabra, an elven word, "The Staffcrafter". no-one objected to this association, and indeed, the name stuck. During the Ritual of Naming, it was decide that this would be the name given to him, and so it was tattooed onto his wrists, Jabra on one, Bullsprig on the other.
For the next few years of adulthood, Jabra became increasingly given to walks in the woods, returning home to share strange stories of animals, and beasts seen in the forests. And while these stories captivated his friends, many still regarded him as the maverick he was at childhood, not a mature man. They were particularly suspicious of his reverence of Katia - it seemed, almost worship.
Eventually he was taken aside by the elders and they spoke of many things. He was told that he held a great spirit, a strong one, the trees seemed to bend to shelter him, and the animals seemed especially protective of him. However, they said, you are still unbalanced. His spirit was not entirely tame. And while wildness can be a strength in maintaining a balance, it must be a controlled wildness, there must be method in it.
And so began Jabra's Ritual of Change. He set out from the High Forests in search of his personal balance, a sturdy branch in hand, and loose robes on his back.
1 I understand and agree to the objectives of being a druid in Layonara.
2 I understand and agree to the rules of achieving these objectives.
3 I understand the internal organizational structure of the druids.
OOC notes:
- I intend on multi-classing him to Shifter, as I have tried to work a little into his background. And intend on doing so fairly early, so will create a character development thread once I get approval, and in-game
- Also, any suggestions are welcome. First time Layonaran, long-time DnD nerd

Love my roleplay I do
