Description: A tall elf with a trim and athletic look to him. His skin is worn and weathered showing that he spends most of his time outside. Marginally kept midnight hair frames his pale face, not quite covering the tips of his ears. Small twigs, leaves, or even bits of grass can often be found in it. His emerald eyes constantly more when in a town or city, flitting about like a hunter, looking for his prey or that prey always noting what is around and where to move if needed. In his beloved forests he is calm and balanced, fully prepared and in his element. He often wears clothes that reveal the crimson and turquoise tattoes on his well-muscled upper arms.

Bio: Taeghen was raised by his parents in the woods. His father, Saevel Silverthorne, is an elven druid that taught him the ways of Folian S’Pae. His mother, Jastra Silverthorne, is an elven enchantress that fell in love the the woods and then his father. She converted to the worship of Folien, and protecting the woods. They raised him among the trees, and other druid and ranger friends. Taeghen spent more time with animals, and the few elves that were friends with his family, than any real society. Many of his points of view are animalistic in nature and most of his comparisons will be made that way. Those who wish to relate to him need to explain things in terms of how animals behave.

Taeghen has a deep love of the forest and its creatures. He loves to hunt and destroy those what would bring any of the forest to harm but realizes that some foresting and foraging is needed. Predators feed on prey to survive. To him, it is not wrong to hunt an animal for food but doing so for sport will raise his ire. He is not often seen without his companion, the bear Elrahir that has been with him a very long time.

He met his mate Sabel when she was training to be a priestess of Folian and he visited the same shrine she was learning at. They fell in love and were Bound to each other only a few years later. Since her training has been complete they have spent the past few decades together roaming the woods and serving the balance. He considers himself the alpha of their pack but listens to what his mate has to say, never too arrogant to ask for advice.

Now 173 years of age, he is still learning and growing, always with the support of Sabel, and supporting her in turn. To non-elves he is either cold or curious. He has met some few but most were rangers or other druids. He has seen the roads and paths, the destruction of the woods and cannot forgive others for this. He seeks always to serve Folian, nature, the balance and his fellow druids. Elves, druids and rangers will be met with friendliness. He will not be hostile to others, but neither will he be particularly kind. He is cautious until he finds out enough to know if others he meets threaten his woods or the creatures therein.
