Character Approvals The characters on this board have been approved by a GM and may be played online, in the world.

Welcome to the Layonara forums!

Layonara is so much more than a game. We started off as a tabletop Dungeons and Dragons campaign more than a decade ago. Since then we have developed into a fantasy world with as much compelling and engrossing detail as you will find anywhere.

Our current showcase is a Neverwinter Nights version of Layonara, where our world comes to life in a finely polished persistent world which you can play free of charge. These forums are set up to support and accentuate our player's experiences, but it goes far beyond that.

After years of passionate effort, our world is so well developed, so detailed, so refined that any of the handbooks, maps, historical accounts, legends, descriptions of artifacts, creature reports, character biographies, short stories, novels, movies and original art which populate these forums can surely serve as resources or inspiration for your own fantasy endeavors, whatever they may be. And our world is endlessly evolving, so resources are frequently added and updated.

There are also years of sage advice and commentary on role-playing, gaming and online community development stored in these forums. If camaraderie is what you seek, we offer that too. Our community is as active and supportive as you're likely to find on the internet. In short, these forums are a resource for you to use for whatever purpose or project brought you here.

We're confident that you will find what you are looking for, and likely, substantially more.

Please be our guest and browse around the forums which are available to you. As you do, keep in mind that you are sampling only a portion of what Layonara has to offer. Membership in our community is free, and allows you to establish a Layonara identity to pose your questions and share your thoughts on the forums. When you join you'll also be able to communicate privately to other members (PMs), establish and respond to polls, upload and download content and access many other special features. Brother to James Hearth

Born it the city of Port Hampshire to a merchant mother and a craftsman
father Bobby is the oldest
of three boys. The middle one James. (and the youngest one to be named
when our other friend is
ready to start playing) Bobby admired his father but never really
wanted to learn his craft, he
allways fought with other children and picked on his little brothers.
He was drawn to learn to
fight. He always played with his father's armor and swords.

When Bobby was 14 he was awakened by a comotion in the shop and his
mother yelling at his younger
brothers to leave. Bobby peeked out his bedroom door to see his mother
being dragged off and seeing
his father be beaten by at least fve rouges. There was a very large
man covered in shadow telling
them to look for something. Bobby Quickly made his way back into his
room and out his window. Two
of the rouges came though after him. Fearing his life he ran like the
wind and did not stop till
he was far from town and collapsed in a farmer's barn. All of this
traumatized Bobby. He rarly spoke
since and vowed revenge on the one's that did this to his family.

Bobby has since lived from small village to small village to farm doing
odd jobs for whomever he
can. He has learned how to fight from the few fighters he has come
across never really learning much
yet. He hopes to one day find out what came of his family. Now he
travels to the small town of
Hlint in hopes of finding a few little jobs to stay alive a little
while longer.

Please note it is rogue, I would be really funny if rouges attacked someone.
