In his youth Jamerick worked the land on a small farm near Blackford castle, as time went on he eventually owned the farm and set down to running it. He had worked on the farmland for many years with his wife As a hobby Jamerick taught self defense to the children of the area and some adults. he had seen many people go on to greater things and was pleased to have taught them, but he had seen attitudes change for the worse. He had allways wonder what had caused this.
One of the most basic of all weapons the staff was his favorite weapon and companion; it helped him on his journeys and to fend off raiding goblins and bandits that might want to raid the land. He was respected by the people around were he lived for being a wise and thoughtful as he and his wife grew older and became less able to work the backbreaking hours on the fields they sold their farm and settled down for a relaxing life, Jamerick's basic defense lessons bought in a bit of money for them but one year his wife became very sick, and passed away, Jamerick was distraught. After sitting down one day all alone he realized how much the people had changed since he was young, Jamerick sold his house in the next few weeks gathered his most basic possessions and set of on the road to see how the world had changed.
