Biography:
Lia was your typical elven child. Being the youngest child in her family, she was rambunctious and adventures, as most babies are. She also had an extraordinary talent for magic which her parents recognized at a young age, she was sent to the finest magic academy in the land. Though she liked magic, she was far to restless to study for hours on end. She preferred to let her emotions control her spells rather that sheer knowledge of magic. Lia was away at school for many months during the year, she never really fit in, but she continued attending to please her father. She missed her family and her home very much. Being away so much brought about animosity between Lia and her siblings. Her older brother and sister would worry her about her father's health. They would tell her that if it were not for her and her schooling her father would not have to work so long and hard. When she was 90 years old her father lost his sight, due to many years of scribing scrolls in dim candle light. Because of this her father lost his job and could no longer afford to send her to school. The many years of ridicule from her siblings had taken its toll on Lia, and she was convinced that her father’s blindness was her fault. She felt such remorse that she could not even speak to her father. Lia could find comfort nowhere. Because of her special schooling she was shunned by her peers, her family blamed her for her fathers condition, and the one person she could always confide in, her father, she was too ashamed to face. Lia began spending a lot of time by herself, working on her magic. Since she no longer went to the academy, she was able to foster on her natural talents in sorcery. Soon the shame became too much and she left silently in the night to find a place where she would be accepted for who she was.

Description: Lia is 5'0" with an athletic build. Her skin is ivory white. She has electric blue eyes and light brown hair. When she smiles it lights up her eyes and you will see something wild and adventurous hidden deep inside.

Since you are applying for the sorceror class I would like to hear more on why she was being trained as a wizard. Sorcery as you stated comes from within and is more natural, something that can't really be taught but most of your focus here is on the bookish aspect of the wizard.

ok, rewrote some parts to make it clearer to what i had in mind. It's more like she is a sorcerer though her family wanted her to be a wizard. Hope this clears things up.
