Bio


Kargoth was born to a tribe of hill giants. His mother was a true giant and head cleric of the tribe, his father was a Barbarian from a near by clan of humans who was captured during a raid and offered up as a prize to the high cleric, kept in slavery for several years he watched his son grow for the first year of his life, but then went missing, he'd escaped the tribe and has continued living else where.

But his half breed heritage singled him out, by tribe law he should have been given over to his other parent but this would no longer be possible so his mother expressed her wish to keep him in the tribe, as the tribes head cleric no one opposed her wish to keep kargoth, but nor did they make his life any easier

Avoided by the other children his age, he spent most of his time alone outside the tribe or with his mother, he learnt all he could from his mother. She hoped he would follow the path of the cleric like herself but it would not be, the time he spent outside of the tribe had given him a kind of bond with nature, he loved it all from the smallest creature to the mightyest storm, the storms where the best for him, his mother had taught him about Grannoch known to the tribe as the lady of storms, he learnt all about grannochs teachings and principles and though not a cleric he followed the code like any other cleric.

At the age of 13 kargoth's mother met with a local druid and asked him to spend some time with her son and see if he would be able to start training with the druid, after a couple of days it was agreed that kargoth would go and learn their teachings. This time was diffcult for kargoth, he struggled to learn but his enthusiam won through and his eagerness to understand all of natures teachings saw him through the toughest moments, but his mother always weighed heaviliy on his mind, him and the druid would spend weeks even months at a time away in the wilderness and he missed his mother terribly.

by the age of 20 his basic training was completed and he was a memeber of the druid socity. He returned home to meet his mother and when he did she was pleased to hear of it. though not a cleric as she hoped he had managed to make something noble of his life

After this he spent little time with the tribe and most of it in the wilderness with a animal companion, the type of animal would change every so often, he never liked to keep just one... felt a little too much like slavery for his tastes, instead he'd take what ever was willing to join him for as long as the creature was happy

aged 24 now he'd heard of a far away town of Hlint who were looking for all sorts of "heroes" to help out. He'd never really had friends as such and maybe here he would be more accepted, he never begrudged his home tribe for what they did too him, they were never harsh or cruel and it was there way he'd accepted that a long time ago. After speaking with his mother she seemed pleased about him going but also saddened, but kargoth promised to visit when ever he could, and so of he went the journey was long but finally he made it...........

per that post PC half=giants are only of hill variety. Storm giants are a more powerful noble giant.

Also please add something about his father, how did this man come to fall in with a giant woman? Where is he now?

Re edited - ive gone for a half giant father under the assumption that with such a parent combination a half giant child is still a resonable outcome.......

with his father being half giant and his mother being full giant the would make him 3/4 giant which doesn't really fit with being a half giant as he far more giant than human.
