Thier mother, the daughter of a ship captain met a barbarian of the Bear-Claw tribe, and fell in love. They married and she attempted to become a member of the tribe. It was not to be, and shortly after the birth of their third child, she left him and returned to live in Leilon. The eldest child Ragar stayed on Krashin with his father, Tora and the new born babe, Sorus went with their mother. Tora's parents kept in touch over the years and Tora and Sorus would meet Ragar on trips across to Krashin on their Grandfather's ship every summer if only for a week or two. Dear Toragar, I am concerned our daughter Tora. She has fallen in with a bad crowd and I believe has taken to petty larceny. She dotes on her brother Sorus, and keeps on bringing him books to read, but when I ask her where they come from she refuses to answer me and I get to see her temper that she has inherited from you. On the plus side Sorus can calm her temper and even now is teaching her how to use a wand of light. I fear we will all have difficulty sleeping tonight the house is so bright. She killed her first bear yesterday and tonight will be inducted into the warriors of the tribe, and receive her tattoos. It is a shame that Tora grew up in a human city rather than here on Krashin. Her fighting is a little odd and she does not commit to battle as a warrior raised here would, instead she prefers to duck and dodge. She has also shunned the great axe used by most of the tribe preferring hatchet and shield, although at times she tries to fight with two hatchets. This is funny to watch as she is yet to master the art of fighting with two weapons. She has developed a firm friendship with her other brother Ragar who has opted to walk the path of shaman for the tribe.
