Bio/Description:
The lithe form of this elf stands calm and collected. His hair was somewhat wild yet seemed to fit his composure. Long black strands fell smoothly down to his mid back allowing only the upper tips of his slender elven ears to pass through its length. His skin seemed unkissed by the sun, somewhat pale yet natural. Deep emerald eyes starred out, squinting yet open. Thin lips rarely showed signs of emotion, though his overal facial expression could speak volumes for his passion.
He wore simple leather breeches, smoothed and lightly tanned. Slight scratches and holes filled the material down to soft leather boots that left little impression upon the very ground he stood. A simple black belt looped around his waist, holding a few pouches and a set of feathers and beads tied in a long string dangling down to his right knee. If he wore a shirt at all it was made of simple cloth, colored off-white with signs of wear around the cuffs. A necklace of wolf and bear teeth fell shortly down around his neck.

Rechra stems from a long line of druids and rangers who have pledged to protect and upkeep the beauty and balance of nature, whether it be forest or desert, mountain or cave. Since his birth he has been raised to appreciate all that nature gives. His father, an elven ranger named Rengar, often took Rechra on long journeys through the High Forest to show him the various bounties of natures grace, teaching him all he knew of the plants and animals he had come across in his many years of protecting the woods. The two spent most of their time together throughout his youth, developing a very strong bond between father and son.

Since most of his time was spent with his father, he took on most of his dads qualities. He became handy with a bow but also learned the importance of the martial skills. He learned the way of the great hunt and to only take what he needed from the land and no more. From time to time they would enter into nearby Forts set by man to restock on ammunition or to sharpen their steel, often taking up work for local farmers who needed help with their livestock or merchants needing safe passage through the forest. His father taught him the value of friendship and loyalty towards those you consider companions.

Every so many years he would visit his mother, a druid who spent much of her time delving into the deepest caverns in search of new types of creatures and undiscovered plants that might be used for the greater good. She taught him the value of salves and medicine. She was also a firm believer in the teachings of Folian S'pae and made sure to instill his values upon Rechra every chance she could get. It was from his mother he learned his way around the mountains and caves.

Sometimes his father would join the two on deep expeditions into more dangerous cave systems, those inhabited by goblins and ogres. Usually in such cases the goblin societies had done some injustice to local farmers or travelers unfortunate enough to cross their paths. Though Rechra himself was kept a safe distance when hostiles were near his father would instruct him on ways to fight them, tracking techniques and tell tale signs of their inhabitants. It was here he grew a hatred for the goblins and all their kin, viewing them as creatures willing to cause the destruction of the balance for their own greed and lust.

It was only recently that his training to become a ranger has come to an end, his father deciding that it was finally time for Rechra to set out on his own and find his own path amongst the forest and mountains. Taking only what provisions he needed he has set out on a journey to continue the legacy of his family, to protect nature and perhaps find those willing to take up sword or staff to do the same.
