| Character Approvals The characters on this board have been approved by a GM and may be played online, in the world. | | Welcome to the Layonara forums!
Layonara is so much more than a game. We started off as a tabletop Dungeons and Dragons campaign more than a decade ago. Since then we have developed into a fantasy world with as much compelling and engrossing detail as you will find anywhere.
Our current showcase is a Neverwinter Nights version of Layonara, where our world comes to life in a finely polished persistent world which you can play free of charge. These forums are set up to support and accentuate our player's experiences, but it goes far beyond that.
After years of passionate effort, our world is so well developed, so detailed, so refined that any of the handbooks, maps, historical accounts, legends, descriptions of artifacts, creature reports, character biographies, short stories, novels, movies and original art which populate these forums can surely serve as resources or inspiration for your own fantasy endeavors, whatever they may be. And our world is endlessly evolving, so resources are frequently added and updated.
There are also years of sage advice and commentary on role-playing, gaming and online community development stored in these forums. If camaraderie is what you seek, we offer that too. Our community is as active and supportive as you're likely to find on the internet. In short, these forums are a resource for you to use for whatever purpose or project brought you here.
We're confident that you will find what you are looking for, and likely, substantially more.
Please be our guest and browse around the forums which are available to you. As you do, keep in mind that you are sampling only a portion of what Layonara has to offer. Membership in our community is free, and allows you to establish a Layonara identity to pose your questions and share your thoughts on the forums. | Peanut - Resubmission for Rogue levels Full Name: Peanut
Age: 20
Class: Fighter/Weapons Master
Race: Halfling
Subrace: None
Alignment: Neutral Good
Deity: Ilsare
Bio/Description:
Peanut was found abandoned as a baby and raised in an orphanage. Her parents were poor wanders who didn't have the resources to care for an unexpected infant. They left her on the doorsteps of the orphanage with nothing to identify her or them. Since she had no name and she was so small the kindly folk at the orphanage named her Peanut. Peanut despised being small. She was frail as a child and was made fun of. She decided that she would prove to others that she was not weak. As she grew older her body grew strong from exercise and trying to eat as much as she could. She never stopped lifting things and chopping wood and such. When she heard others being picked on she always came to their defense and got into many fights with bullies. Her heart would not let her back down from a fight, especially when someone made fun of her name. She kept the name to remind her that she would never be weak.
Peanut arrived in Hlint and began training. She purchased her first scimitar from the weapons vendor (but he laughed at her). She got her upgraded scimitar from a kindly cleric. She has heard that there is another halfling about named Lillian who is very good with a scimitar. She loves her scimitar so much that she is determined to become the best fighter with a scimitar that has ever lived. That would make her really big! and strong! She just imagines all the people she can help if she could just be the best with this glorious weapon. No one will ever laugh at her or bully her or her friends again. She likes that!

Peanut trained for a couple of years under the instruction of Miss Liilian but then Miss Lillian got real busy adventuring and Pea met Beasty and Zup. Beasty is the love of Pea's heart, next to griffons, and Drexia, and pies. Well Pea loves a lot os things. Pea's been watching Zup when they fight a lot and she's starting to think that being small might not be so bad after all. She really wants to be able to get close to griffons without them eating her so she's been taking sneaking lessons from Zup. Zup was also showing Pea how to sneak up on bad guys when they get distracted bashing on Beasty. Beasty can take a lot of bashin. He's Pea's halfling man! Pea thinks she could be a lot more helpful if she could be a bit more sneaky all around. Zup says the eyes are the key. "slashemintheeyes"
//Peanut would like to take the remainder of her levels to 20th as rogue levels focusing on sneaking. This would result in a split of 8 Fighter/7 Weapon Master/5 Rogue at 20th. Thanks.

| Re: Peanut - Resubmission for Rogue levels Hi Moon, we have discussed this and we request that you take some more time to improve your RP and CDT to support this. If you wish this multiclass before 20th, then you will need to have XP removed on a consistent basis to maintain the character below 16th level else you wont be able to do this until 21st level. This is to reflect Pea's training in the skills of a rogue, which take time and effort. Please work on these things and resubmit at a later date. Not too much later, just when you have had some good PC interaction on the issue and some GM interaction.

| Re: Peanut - Resubmission for Rogue levels After much lip chewing and help from her friends Pea has decided that being a rogue may not be right for her. Thank you all for your help. Pea IS morphing, you'll just have to wait and see what. *winks and smiles*
