| Re: First Character Submission This is a good start. But Halfgiant submissions require more back ground story. Here are some pointers:
1. Drek'Tar may not remember his life before 3 but he had parents so it would be good to know who they were.
2. What is his out look on life and the world?
3. What are some of the defining moments in his life?
4. What has happen to him while he has been traveling without a goal?
5. How was he trained to be a fighter and in what weapons did he excel?
6. What does he look like?

| Re: First Character Submission Well, here is a little more complete bio:
Alicia Tarlhem was a peasant living in the Succession Kingdom, not far of the Castle Succession. One night, she has been attacked by a horde of wolves while she was looking for wood. Attracted by the wolves howl, a lone hill giant who was seeking food approach. He known that where wolves were, food also was always there. So Grudrek the hill giant came to the wolves. Driving out them, he was expecting a lost sheep he could eat. When Grudrek saw the woman, he understood he wouldnt be able to have launch this night. Only fat humans are edible and she wasnt... Alicia, thinking he came to save her, gave him one of her sheep to thank him.
Days later, Grudrek who was still looking for food, remember that near Alicia's house, he had been given a delicious sheep. So he decided to knock to her door. Alicia, pleased to see her saver, invite him to have a light meal. She also cured his several wounds. At this point, Grudrek had other things in mind than food...
Things gone along and weeks later, Grudrek was officialy helping Alicia at the farm.
Things gone along and two years later, Alicia dyed during the delivery of a half-giant. Grudrek called him Drek'Tar.
About three years later, Grudrek was executed by knights for the murder of Alicia Tarlhem.
Drek'Tar ran to the north and, quickly, he was lost in The Great Desert.
Drek'Tar dont remember what happened to him at the begining of his life.
The only thing he knows is that he has been brought up by a humans nomad group who had rescued him in The Great Desert when he was 3 years old. Considerated as a little pet at start, he quickly has been accepted as an entire group member.
Fast, he helped the group on the common work, and just his presence was detering all bandits.
Of course he learned the art of exotic weapon handling, wich was a nomad tradition. He exceled in war scythe handling because when he was driving such weapon, he reminded unconsciously the time when he was at the farm with his father.
But one day when he was out of the camp, a band of thief killed all his nomad friends and stole all the goods and riches, leaving Drek'Tar alone as an orphan for the second time.
After several days of reflection on what he could do, a caravan pass near the old nomad camp. The caravan leader convinced Drek'Tar to join him, as he known that with a half-giant with him, he would never been attacked by bandits.
From this time, he is traveling without a real goal, trying to survive in a world were people like him arent accepted easily.
Drek'Tar is now 29 years old. The first thing you notice when you see him for the first time is that he have a very big nose and a mustache (as his father has got), so big that it hide a part of his mouth. The second things you can notice are his blue round eyes, the same as his mother, giving him an innocence appearance. As all half-giant, he stand seven feet in height, got big hands and have a large forehead. His skin is a very intense blue one, the same as his father, and even the sun of The Great Desert did not warmed it.
Easily influenced, he always rely on somebody to know what he have to do in every situation. Also, he dont know well the difference between a good and an evil act. That's why he is True Neutral, and his future alignment depends on his travelling companion...

| Re: First Character Submission Hi there!
First and foremost, all PC half-giants are of Hill Giant descent, not one of the greater Giants. Grudrek will have to be a Hill Giant.
Also, bear in mind that half-giants have a -6 to both INT and CHA, and this might be something to be addressed in Drek'Tar's personality.
You're just about set - once you've addressed the above points, Drek'Tar should be good to go!
Merci!

| Re: First Character Submission Thank's for your help,
I just changed Grudrek race, and here are the stats i think i will put, in order to justify the fact Drek'Tar can not exist nor think by himself (reflected by th e -6 int). Then for the -6 CHA, i think there is nothing to explain, because he is a half-giant and he isnt nice to look ^^
Stats: (after half-giant bonus/malus)
STR : 19
DEX : 14
CON : 18
INT : 9
WIS : 8
CHA : 6
Voila

Some final notes on character creation:
- Please note that racial adjustments for players with subraces are skin based and thus get applied after getting in game.
- Only two ability scores can be less than 10 and only one can be less than 8 after racial adjustments
- Brownies, when selecting a head, the head you choose on the halfling selection will correspond to that numbered head for elves (for example, clicking right 6 times on the head selection during character creation will take the 6th head when clicking right on the elf creation)
- Half-giants and ogres, please ask for a GM (type /dm Anyone here?) if you would like to change to a custom skin.
Bon chance!
