Short Description:

She has a dark expression, locks of black hair shadowing her thin face. Grey eyes flecked with bits of emerald green observe her surroundings, paying careful attention to each person who passes. She moves with the grace of a panther.

Biography:

She was raised in Fort Vehl, daughter to Melina and Derik Rowle. Her youngest memories are that of when her mother Melina died giving birth to her stillborn brother.

After her mother and brother died, her father started to disappear at night. He always told her he was out looking for work, when in truth he fell back on his branderback ways. Eventually when she was old enough he started taking her with him. He taught her the way of the rogues and what he knew about the religion of Branderback.

What he taught her was that Branderback wanted his followers to live life to their fullest extent so as not to be cheated of anything they deserve. There was never such a thing as a limit. If it wasn't nailed down, there was no reason why it shouldn't be taken, liberated or whatever word of the moment. He told her to even distrust him, her own father, as everyone can become a betrayer, or abandon you at the worst second like her mother abandoned them. He said they only worked together to benefit each other and survive, but if something went wrong, he would leave her in a heartbeat.

With the money they made through thievery, her father enlisted her through a strict guard program where they taught her to fight properly. although she learned a lot, she felt that the main reason her father had done such a thing was to give the authorities in vehl the impression they were law-abiding citizens.

She was forced to go along with what her father said, she was young, she just did as pops told cause it kept food on the table and money in their pockets. Eventually, her father was betrayed, and she was returned his ring by a friendly guard to the family. She thought the murder wasn't certain. Although the murderer was never caught, she believed it to be by one of her fathers coworkers that he did jobs with in the past. At the age of eighteen, she left her home in Vehl, yet never completely left her faith. She didnt agree with how much the betrayal and greed was emphasized in Branderback's dogma, feeling it was too focused on paranoia. instead, she kept the parts about relying on yourself, living life the best you can and taking what opertunities come to you. She applied this to her life to give her a more third person view when necessary.

Feeling that a rogue's life could be more than stealing and murder, she then continued with the path she chose for herself and made way towards hempstead for a fresh start.

This is an excellent first submission - just two things I'd like to see cleared up.

First - which of her parents was the elf?

Second - who "betrayed" her father, who killed him, and sent her the ring as a warning? (She can't plausibly not know, or it's a rather ineffective warning.)

First. Her mother was the full elf, her father the human

Second. Well, the person who betrayed and killed him was a fellow co-worker of his. Her father through out the years occasionally teamed up with him to do jobs.

One more quick thing to clear up, then -

Why the warning? Was it well-intentioned (from her father's murderer!)? Or was it a threat directed against her - and if so, what gain would come to the betrayer from scaring her?

The ring was given to her from a guard who knew the two in vehl, the murder was never certain, but she figures it was by one of his coworkers

Some final notes on character creation:

• Please note that racial adjustments for players with subraces are skin based and thus get applied after getting in game.
• Only two ability scores can be less than 10 and only one can be less than 8 after racial adjustments
• Brownies, when selecting a head, the head you choose on the halfling selection will correspond to that numbered head for elves (for example, clicking right 6 times on the head selection during character creation will take the 6th head when clicking right on the elf creation)
• Half-giants and ogres, please ask for a GM (type /dm Anyone here?) if you would like to change to a custom skin.
