Biography:

Goinus Ironfar grew up perhaps like any other common dwarf born into these dangerous times. He was kept cloce to the halls and quarries burrowed deep into the earth watched over by his father or his breatheren of the clan. He was taught the dwarven traditions of mining, smithing, drnking, and fighting by his father as well as other members of the clan. He was also taught the dangers of duergar and the other races and creatures of the underdark and a healthy distrust of magic. He sat many a night with his father in the great halls as dwarf after dwarf bought him drink after drink while listening to others tales of his fathers battle prowess and bravery with the occasional input from his father himself. He listened intently into the night to the tales of forgien lands riches and terrors, dragons and giants, orcs and ogres, golbins and kobolds and the times that he helped defend his clans halls and communities from the duergar and their allies who seek to raid their stores kill their families and bring an end to their way of life.

Although it was fourty years ago he rembers it as if it were yesterday he was only a boy of fifteen as he stared with wonder at his father dressed in his battle gear. Their clan leader Legnus comitted himself and his best fighters to help reclaim the dwarven halls under Mt Norand from the evil that befell it. Goinus being only a boy he couldn't go with him but his father gave him this advice he said "Live life to its fullest work hard for the clan drink and make merriment with your clans men and defend our way of life even if it requires you give yours for that is the strength of dwarven kind and why we will always persevere." After the battles Legnus and most of his clansmen returned Goinus franticly looked for his father in the ranks but saw no sign of him then Legnus walked up to him and gave him the news that his father came to his end saving his life and was given full honors and burial rights for defenders of the dwaren ways such as his father and assures him that the clan will watch over him and his mother and his father will be always remembered by the clan it tales and song.

Goinus a proud and staunch defender of the Dwarven way of life begins to feel his fathers yearning for adventure. He wants to cary on his clans name, uphold his fathers ideals, honor and his memory in the bravery he displayed in the battle to reclaim the Dwarven Halls under Mt Norand from scores of undead and the bloodpool. Goinus took the loss of his father and uses it to fuel him to do his best at everything he does and inspired him to strive to become a Dwarven Defender as his father before him. As the veil of the dark ages has lifted it inspires a new hope in him as if he feels his father is looking down upon him watching his deeds with pride like only a father can.

Good start! Just a couple of things.

1. We dont approve PrCs on submission. After you meet the reqs you can apply for the PrC. You must also keep a CDT (character development thread) covering all he does that has to do with learning about DDs.

2. Please add a little more info about him. Such as a bit more about his father. How old was he when his father died? how long has his father been gone? what has he been doing since?

3. Please add a line stating that he does not come from royalty or any privilege.

Some final notes on character creation:

• Please note that racial adjustments for players with subraces are skin based and thus get applied after getting in game.
• Only two ability scores can be less than 10 and only one can be less than 8 after racial adjustments
• Brownies, when selecting a head, the head you choose on the halfling selection will correspond to that numbered head for elves (for example, clicking right 6 times on the head selection during character creation will take the 6th head when clicking right on the elf creation)
• Half-giants and ogres, please ask for a GM (type /dm Anyone here?) if you would like to change to a custom skin.
