Biography:

Avrok is the son of a great Knight of Toran, Kalish Pendavane. His father died in battle fighting against dark elves. When his father died Avrok was orphaned and left to be raised by the temple. More of a scholar than his father Avrok chose the path of a priest as opposed to that of a paladin. He will someday bring the Dark Elves to justice who were responsible for his fathers death.

Please follow this link to the information required by all Paladin and Cleric submissions. As well we'd love to see a bit more of Avork's personality. Childhood and young adult anecdotes generally serve to flesh this out. Some questions to start with:

Who was Avork's mother and what did she do?
How old was Avork when his father died?
Why did he turn from the martial ways of his beloved father and pursue a more scholarly (and generally more peaceful) path with such an avid hatred of the Dark elves?
What place did Avork grow up in?

Character Biography Addendum: Avrok Pendavane.

Avrok was the subject of a rather tragic upbringing. His mother Grelda died a few hours after childbirth. She was a cleric herself and with her dying breath made Avroks father swear that her only child would not follow him into a militant lifestyle. Kalish made this oath to his wife and followed it throughout his life.
Avrok was about thirteen when his father was killed by the Dark Elves. The priests had always taught him forgiveness as a virtue. Although the desire was there to charge off and avenge his father the warmth and radiance of his god soothed his anger and enabled him to turn his aggression to his studies. Avrok was also aware of the oath that his father had made on his mothers deathbed and was determined to respect the wishes of his deceased mother.

Avrok hails from the City of Lorindar in the continent of Dregar.

1. I have read the dogma of Toran and intend to uphold justice and law at every turn. The weak shall be defended and the evil defeated.

2. I will travel the world seeking out evil and injustice. Upon finding these things I shall resolve them by peaceful means but using force if necessary. The weak cannot defend themselves that is where myself and my order step in, for everybody should have the right to avoid oppression and evil.

3. The chosen weapon longsword will be my chosen weapon too. I will probably not wear the heavy armour unless this is absolutely necessary, preferring to be the voice of justice. Violence is needed when diplomacy fails.

Hello again and great update for Avrok.

Firstly, I want to let you know that the new name for Lorindar is just plain Lor (a shift reflected in our maps and Lore pages, but not yet reflected in our handbooks.)

Secondly, the dark elf attacks mentioned in the city's information happened long before Avork's father was born. As long as these are not the references your trying to make, that should be good as well!

I think with the acknowledgment of the second point Avrok will ready to roam the lands.

I realise that the Dark Elf attacks occurred a long time ago, just made sense that there are possibly dark elves in the area. Also just like the feel of the city Lor.

Some final notes on character creation:

• Please note that racial adjustments for players with subraces are skin based and thus get applied after getting in game.
• Only two ability scores can be less than 10 and only one can be less than 8 after racial adjustments
• Brownies, when selecting a head, the head you choose on the halfling selection will correspond to that numbered head for elves (for example, clicking right 6 times on the head selection during character creation will take the 6th head when clicking right on the elf creation)
• Half-giants and ogres, please ask for a GM (type /dm Anyone here?) if you would like to change to a custom skin.
