Description: For as rough and abrupt as she may seem it is in great contrast to her beauty. Her forceful personality can almost be forgiven when one looks into her deep blue eyes, and almost forget the fact that she is harping on you for walking on the wrong side of the road....

Bio:

I have always known what my purpose was in this world. My parents did right in bringing me up properly and teaching me the ways of our god, the all watching, shining Toran. My father, Kendrick Stormhaven, a former paladin, always told me that it was my duty to show the way to the less fortunate and ignorant, the errors of their ways and always do my best to help to bring them up to be a force for good in the world instead of evil. My mother, Rebecca, wished to do more than she could to fight the lions of injustice, but her weak frame was never strong enough, so instead she chose to teach those around us the right way to live, and she lived by example always as best as she could, never failing, never losing faith, and never failing to see the good in people, even when they failed to see it themselves. I chose to follow in my father's footsteps, though, and be more of a force for evil to reckon with.

At the age of 10 my parents agreed to let me go to study at the church and learn the ways to start me on my path to fight to uphold the laws of Toran. There I learned of the great deeds of those who have walked before me in the paths of righteousness, and I was even more inspired to fight injustice as I grew in age and wisdom and saw some of the lawlessness and greed and utter degredation in the cities as I travelled under the tutelage of my mentor, Anne Ravenwind. I saw the blatant disregard for the laws that had been put into place for the safety and wellbeing of those under the protection of the laws, and the sadness that people who do not know the true enlightenment of the Great Leader.

I saw the lands that were ravaged by the undead abominations, and I knew that I would one day have a hand in smiting those that walked between life and death. I eagerly learned to use the sword and shield, and found my skill with the longsword, now my best friend and companion.

At 16, I met a boy in Mariner's Hold about my own age, who had grown up on the streets, living in filth and stealing from anyone he could in a pitiful effort to survive. I decided, since I had the education and he did not, that it was my duty for my deity, and for the greater good, to teach this scamp how to be a better person and to serve the people as well as to serve the All Watching. He was a quick study, and my very first successful convert from the ways of chaos into the ways of truth and justice. He now accompanies me in most things, for he is still new to the faith and believes he is lost without my guidance, and we are able to seek out the undead and the lawless together to bring justice where it is needed.

I remember the day that I was able to glimpse the Shining Hand himself, from a distance, and I was awe inspired. It is only recently that I have learned from my mentor that he has been corrupted and needs to be supplanted, either through the Gauntlet Gilbert Gallant, or... well, we'll see what happens. Either way, I know that having someone in such a position be corrupted must be dealt with swiftly and efficiently in order to preserve the church and its followers from certain scandal and chaos. Perhaps he has bathed in the Light of Toran so long that he has been blinded from his true path.

I can only hope that I can live up to the expectations of my father, my mentor, and my god, to help those in need and seek out evil and bring justice to the people. I know that the only way to happiness is by bringing order and faith to the masses who if left to their own devices would fall into chaos and disarray. It is for the peoples' own good that evil be punished, and good prevail. I have sworn to protect the innocent and to rout out evildoers, and I intend to do just that. I have faith that my god in his glory will guide my hand in my judgments and my footsteps to the places that are most in need.

I the player have read and understand the dogma and expectations of followers of Toran and I intend to follow them to the fullest extent possible...if not beyond.

My character interprets the dogmatic principles of Toran to be the one and only set of laws and does not feel that those laws under any circumstance should be changed or standards lowered. Evildoers will be punished and laws will be upheld.

My character has hopes of one day becoming an Undead Hunter like her mentor, however, I will worry about that later through rp and will make submissions for any prc class when the need and requirements are reached. She strives to be the stereotypical paladin of Toran all the way down to the armor and colors she wears and her weapon of choice. In her mind the NPC Anne Ravenwind is the epitome of all things Toran and strives to be very much like her.

I am open to any suggestions for this character to flesh out the bio a bit more. I would also like to say that the character has no noble lineage or ties.

The other thing I'd like to see is permission from the owner of the NPC Anne Ravenwind (I think that's you, OSX) for her inclusion in this biography. Otherwise, it looks very good!

I think use of "Sir" in Sir Kendrick Stormhaven touches a bit close to this rule:

We do not accept characters that have any royal, noble or god connections.

Also the Chase submission is under discussion right now but it does not seem necessary that Chase
be approved for your sub to go through. Unless you want that link as such. If not please fix the above issue and we can move this forward.

Fixed, I was going to have him be former knight of Toran, but I just switched it as a former paladin. Mostly he was just the one that started her on her current path with his example. Makes no difference to me

As this doesn't appear to be a "strongly paired" submission (ie. it does not depend on Chase being approved), it will be approved now, with the understanding that if Chase's story changes in some way that would affect his mention in this submission, the submission will be altered and re-reviewed.

Some final notes on character creation:

• Please note that racial adjustments for players with subraces are skin based and thus get applied after getting in game.
• Only two ability scores can be less than 10 and only one can be less than 8 after racial adjustments
• Brownies, when selecting a head, the head you choose on the halfling selection will correspond to that numbered head for elves (for example, clicking right 6 times on the head selection during character creation will take the 6th head when clicking right on the elf creation)
• Half-giants and ogres, please ask for a GM (type /dm Anyone here?) if you would like to change to a custom skin.
