| Welcome to the Layonara forums!
Layonara is so much more than a game. We started off as a tabletop Dungeons and Dragons campaign more than a decade ago. Since then we have developed into a fantasy world with as much compelling and engrossing detail as you will find anywhere.
Our current showcase is a Neverwinter Nights version of Layonara, where our world comes to life in a finely polished persistent world which you can play free of charge. These forums are set up to support and accentuate our player's experiences, but it goes far beyond that.
After years of passionate effort, our world is so well developed, so detailed, so refined that any of the handbooks, maps, historical accounts, legends, descriptions of artifacts, creature reports, character biographies, short stories, novels, movies and original art which populate these forums can surely serve as resources or inspiration for your own fantasy endeavors, whatever they may be. |  Sammy Quill ~ Request for Spellsword
As I stated with my original submission I would like to apply for Sammy to become a Spellsword.

I have played her in game according to her submission and she has developed and grown in her abilities mixing both weapons, armour and magic. I have been careful to make sure that all the time I am presenting her as trying to become proficient at casting magic while still in armour and showing frustration at not being able to but still trying to find a way to do it effectively.
She has also met Revone Starr who managed to find a way to combine both abilities and has spoken a few times with him about it. She eventually decided she didnt like him very much but did take some time to observe how he was able to do it.
I am hoping Sammy will be able to try to become a Spellsword. |  |   | |

Sorry no she doesn't. I am young and just new to this so just been working through things in game and working hard on role playing my character and where she is going so i hope thats enough for me to go through this. I understand I will probably need to do a cdq because of this and would like that opportunity to get better at things here. | | | | |

Approved for CDQ to go Spellsword. Please seek out the GM of your preference and schedule a date. Actual approval for levels will be determined by the outcome of your CDQ by the presiding GM.
