| Razeriem-REquest to Specialize Razeriem
I am not sure this falls under this forum, but its my best guess attempt. May Razeriem specialize as a Evocation specialist? I have always played him as such. The flashier the better. I think I have cast Mage Armor in recentish time, but no other Conjuration spells. And never a summons. I have not included his magical bent in his journals. But I have always included it in his roleplay. He gained his first Wizard level in 10 plus levels, denoting his refocus in wizardy and suitable timing for the dedication to one school at the exclusion of its opposition.
I do not think this will make him more or less powerful, only fit his play style and worldly prefrences. "Look good doing it." If its simply a coding change. Like Wizard School= Generalist/Evoker. Then a relevel would not be needed. But I have no idea on coding stuffs.
Thank you for consideration. If this can be done, let me know what it would take. This seems to be a very rare request, so I have no idea the procedure or standards on it. As I have said before I would of made him an evoker at creation, but I was newish to Layo then and didn't want to 'mess' anything up and kept it simple. Since then his character has fleshed out and only reaffirmed what I already knew. He is a slash and flash type of guy.
Thank you

| Re: Razeriem-REquest to Specialize Could we please have links to original submission and any CDTs that may be pertinent (just on the off hand chance there's something in there about temperament or some such!)?
Thank you,

| Re: Razeriem-REquest to Specialize You certainly may.
CDT http://forums.layonara.com/character...-greytree.html
Don't see anything supportive.
Journal http://forums.layonara.com/private-d...yet-named.html
7-13 Mention of being able to cast an evocation spell earlier than a necormantic spell of the same level.
8-30 Mentions of making fun of necromancers, but necromantic spells not being without merit. Also shows his personality.
1-29 P.S.: Short showing his inclination for flash.
2-14 Strong support showing why he prefers Duelist over fighter. Its the flashy moves and dashing figure.
Not much all in all. But all his journals show his character for flash over substance. Never makes any refrence to conjuration as he would not want to share the glory with a summon. And anyoen that has role played with him, should be able to support that he is seemingly about first impressions, looking good and being memorable.
In any case that is what there is. 85% of his journalling focused on friends, women and daughters. There are mentions of why he went with Duelist and not armor strapping fighting. Always about being more dashing and flashy.

| Re: Razeriem-Request to Specialize I didn't want to write any more journals until after this was decided upon. I did not want to start an incongruant line. But with that said...
Raz really needed to update his journal. I think he is going to start calling himself an evoker wether he is or not, its a flashy title. After all he calls himself a lot of things others may disagree with. =)

| Re: Razeriem-REquest to Specialize Sorry for the delay, Aerimor. Because this would involve a substantial rebuild, and because of the recent rules changes, there are a few issues that need to be sorted out. (On the plus side, you're helping with the stress-testing of the new rules!)
Thanks again for your patience in this matter.

| Re: Razeriem-REquest to Specialize We have not forgotten about you!
One technical aspect of the request remains to be investigated, and then we can get back to you on what may or may not be required. Thanks!

| Re: Razeriem-REquest to Specialize Sorry for the delay - those in the Team who can test the technical aspect have been busy. This will hopefully be resolved over the course of this weekend.

A reminder - after this change takes effect, you will be unable to use Conjuration spells, even from scrolls. This includes scrolls of Raise Dead.
If you still wish this change, remove all Conjuration spells from Razeriem's memorized spells and spellbook, save, and log out, then post here when you have done so. Once the appropriate edits have been made, a GM will post here to let you know that Razeriem is ready to go.
Thanks for your patience.

| Re: Razeriem-REquest to Specialize How do you remove spells from a spell book?
Did not have any Conjuration spells on my bars or memorized.
Mechanically, well he be releveled or is there some field somewhere that you just need to change? If he is going to be releveled, I will need to figure out what feats he took when, etc.?
Thanks for the effort so far and thank you in advance for the additional clarifications.
I knew about the Raise Dead scroll exclution, BUT very wise of you to mention it.
Thank you,
~Raz

| Re: Razeriem-REquest to Specialize It's a simple character edit, and so he won't be re-leveled.
You only need to worry about making sure there are no Conjuration spells memorized when Razeriem is edited. | | |

| Re: Razeriem-REquest to Specialize 100% sure I have no conjuration spells memorized.
I'll be on as Aerimor until I hear back here.
Does my account have to innactive or just Razeriem?
If just Razeriem, have at him. If the account, I'll log off for dinner in a while and post again its inactive.
Continued thanks and appreciation,
~Raz

| Re: Razeriem-REquest to Specialize Thank you to all that had a hand in this.
It appears he has the one extra spell per level.
But he is still retaining the Conjuration spells in his book. He is able to memorize those spells and cast them. I assume this is unintentional. I will not choose those spells until its worked out how to fix it correctly. I notice no other issues as of yet.
