Short Bio / Description:
Shanara's parents left their villages after finding their marraige to each other was not welcomed by their families. They found they did not want their soon to be born child to grow up in a place where they were not welcome, so they left civilization to live in the wilderness. This would later lead to their death.... Entirely cut off from the rest of the world, the news of the raiding barbarians did not reach them and they were caugth by surprise. Attempting to flee their home, Shanara's father was killed trying to protect the new born baby and her mother. Her mother grabbed only a few necessities and ran. The horde was not coincidence, it instead was after Shanara's mother, who knew why but Shanara never knew. Finding it difficult to travel with the small child, her mother gave her over to a small group of travelling gypsies to be taken care of until she could take her back. But years went by and Shanara found herself at home with these strange people and was never told about her parents. With in the company of the gypsies she grew up and was taught the skills necessary to live by stealing only what was necessary to survive.
Now, Shanara finds herself left behind by the gypsies in a town she does not know but finds that she rather not chase after them and instead make a life of her own.

I forgot to explain Shanara's lack of a deity, so here goes:
Shanara was never introduced to a deity due to the lifestyle of the gypsies she was raised by. But because of her situation she is looking for something to put her faith in since she has been recently left by the people who had all her trust and love. She is looking for something stable wether that will be a deity or a just a good friend, she doesn't know yet.
