bio: maya began her adventures as a scout for a merchant trader, going ahead of the trainwagons to make sure that they were in no danger of being ambushed. whenever she was not leading the scouting party she spent her time with the merchants mage learning the many cantrips this mage posessed. But her employment was short lived as the merchant, being a greedy sort, was assasinated during a eerie dark night. Some say that a evil shadow was seen during the night, other say it was the work of dark magic. So the next day a band was forged to hunt down this invisible killer, Maya lead the scouting party and soon found a trail leading towards the swordrust mountains. On a high trail was where disaster struck, without warning the whole world seemed to dissapear in a ball of blackness. Screams came from all directions as the party fell to a sudden attack from unseen enemies. Then the darkness dissapeared to a ball of Brightness as a cleric countered the spell that took there eyesight away. And there they were..the unseen warriors of the darkness....Drow.. Already a number of the group had fallen to there sleeping darts and wiked blades..she raised her bow, pulled back the string....Then Darkness.. She woke the next morning..bleeding, bruised, and scorched. Her bow next to her was nothing but a charred stick. noticing that she lay between boulders down from the path that they were ambushed on..something powerfull must of knocked her down here. Tending to her wounds first she climbed back to the trail to find the reminants of the massacre. Bodys were hacked apart without abandon, Some ashen, and some greusomely tortored. a heavy weight landed apon her chest as she mourningly buried the bodies and prayed to Folian S'pae to send their spirits onwards. And there she made her silent pact to oneday become resourcefull enought to bring vengence to the Dark race of elves that stole what was to her....friends.
