| | Vashan Klanavan [ NOTE TO DM – I am aware that neutral evil is unacceptable, but if you could take the time to look through the bio I wrote for this new character, would you change your mind at all? If not, could you please set him at “chaotic neutral?” and if not that, “chaotic good?” (As Vashan has the best of intentions anyway)

[Description]
This rugged human before you, is very quiet and self reserved. At first, he looks like, what you might call, an average man, save his slightly pale skin. However, he has a deep hate that grows inside him that he attempts to conceal and he tries to be as civilized as possible, but, after a few days in a populated town, without leaving and living in the wilderness for a while, the hate will burst out of him in front of the people he is near, resulting in backtalk, fighting, and even killings.
At all times he uses proper grammar and is extremely well spoken, when he does speak. He is known for solving conflicts between people and being helpful, but when he does do this, he quickly sinks back into his shell quickly after. This quietness is generally thought to be shyness, but it is actually Vashan’s worries about when his anger will soon come and hurt the people around him.
He is always wearing a black robe, with a gold outlining with a black cape. Whenever he does not wear this outfit is either when he is sleeping or attending a place where he must look his best, like a wedding, a celebration, or a theatre production.
His weapons that he uses in combat are usually none, but if necessary he is proficient with his dagger and crossbow, which are standard for men of Vashan’s class, as he is a wizard. But he is not any wizard – he is a necromancer, a summoner of the dead, and user of dark and hateful magic, although he keeps this well hidden and the only times he uses his necromantic spells are when faced with grave danger.
[Face]
You could say Vashan is quite handsome – he has a rugged appearance about his face that is not reflected in his well kept and clean clothes. His beard covers nearly all of the bottom half of his face, and is rarely shaved, although for some reason it is not long. His dark brown hair is nearly the colour of his eyes, but his eyes are a little darker than the hair.
[Ears]
Vashan’s ears look the same as an average humans.
[Hands]
Vashan’s hands look the same as an average humans.
[Legs]
His arms are far lankier than what you would expect of someone of his race, suggesting he is not a fighter of any sort.
[Arms]
His arms are far lankier than what you would expect of someone of his race, suggesting he is not a fighter of any sort. They are not muscular at all.

[Background]
Vashan’s parents were both twisted and evil. Their names were Verdine Klanavan, and Mary Klanavan. Both of them practiced evil arts, and never ever tended to Vashan’s needs. As far as they were concerned, Vashan was an accident... although his father, when Vashan grew older, showed him the arts of the necromancer, and the pale master. Vashan took to this immediately, wanting to spend time with his father who always ignored him. The only thing his mother ever taught Vashan, was table manners, and manners towards people. Vashan rarely conversed with anyone, which lead to his quietness and lack of social skills in life. At the age of seventeen, Verdine passed away, and at eighteen, Mary committed suicide when one of her spells went wrong, coupled with Verdine’s death.
Vashan had nobody at this point – all he could do, was to gather as many scrolls and potions from his parents wilderness encampment (he had never lived in a house, or a city) and take off, wherever his feet took him. He found that he was very angry about his parents death, and at times could make rash actions. On his travels, it was a year before he found any signs of life, and when he eventually arrived at town he was so exhausted he slept at the Inn for three days straight.
Vashan’s anger, unknown to him, is the result of a spell gone wrong by his mother, unleashing a demon inside his very soul himself. (When his mother saw she did this she committed suicide)
Vashan believes this to be some sort of curse, but has learnt not to question it, instead to just live with it. His slightly pale skin derives from always being amongst the trees except on a few occasions, when out on trips with his father out of the forest to practice spell casting – the reason he was taken out of the wilderness encampment for this was to practice safely without accidentally burning the forest down.
Now, in a densely populated area, what will Vashan’s future hold for him?

[Special Abilities]
- Pale Master [Class]
Eventually, when he achieves the acquired level, Vashan will multiclass as a Pale Master.
- Master of Necromancy [Feat Selection]
Vashan is an amazing master of Necromancy, his whole life growing up around it, and therefore his specialization is necromancy, and his two feats are Spell Focus: Necromancy, and Greater Spell Focus: Necromancy. Vashan may not chose more than three spell slots to one level, save the cantrips, that hold a spell that is not necromantic.
- Barbarian Rage [Barbarian]
Vashan’s anger inside of him sometimes gets the better of him, and because of this, at some point he will select the Barbarian class to take the Barbarian Rage feat.

[Personality]
Vashan wishes only to please people at first, and then, after a while, to hurt people, and then the cycle starts all over again. His personality is mixed – one day he could be outgoing, the next very quiet. Whenever he receives a thank-you from someone, it makes his heart melt as if it is true love speaking to him, and it even retains the evil soul in his body for a short while.
There is no certain race that he hates, but he is rather fascinated by elves, and wonders why they are so outgoing and thoughtful. The only thing he has ever studied apart from his wizard skills, are elvish poems – which he finds very, very amusing, and they are the only thing that made him laugh at his young age. (But he would never laugh in front of his parents in fear of a beating) |
