Welcome to the Layonara forums!

Layonara is so much more than a game. We started off as a tabletop Dungeons and Dragons campaign more than a decade ago. Since then we have developed into a fantasy world with as much compelling and engrossing detail as you will find anywhere.

Our current showcase is a Neverwinter Nights version of Layonara, where our world comes to life in a finely polished persistent world which you can play free of charge. These forums are set up to support and accentuate our player's experiences, but it goes far beyond that.

After years of passionate effort, our world is so well developed, so detailed, so refined that any of the handbooks, maps, historical accounts, legends, descriptions of artifacts, creature reports, character biographies, short stories, novels, movies and original art which populate these forums can surely serve as resources or inspiration for your own fantasy endeavors, whatever they may be. And our world is endlessly evolving, so resources are frequently added and updated.

There are also years of sage advice and commentary on role-playing, gaming and online community development stored in these forums. If camaraderie is what you seek, we offer that too. Our community is as active and supportive as you're likely to find on the internet. In short, these forums are a resource for you to use for whatever purpose or project brought you here.

Default Terevalis, the White Wanderer

First off, here is the one that I have been told I am to use

# Full Name: Terevalis Elderan

# Age: 87

# Class(es): Barbarian/Sorcerer/Arcane Archer

# Race: Elf

# Subrace: [None]

# Alignment: Chaotic Nuetral

# Deity: Kithairien

# Discription: This elf is always hooded, but from what you can see when he occasionally puts his hood down, is he is a fair skinned male elf. He is always wearing white, no matter where he goes. There are no travel stains on his clothing, so you assume he must be very carefull with what he does. He walks with a light, calculated step and rarely smiles. He has a longbow strung across his back, and can draw it to full pull in a matter of seconds. His eyes hold intelligence, and a sort of mystery that fills you with wonder.

# Biography: Born in Voltrex, in the forest of Ulambree. He was always a wild child, striving to prove himself among the other elven boys. He and the other children would go out into the woods, and play tracking games, where they would find and track a wolf pack as long as they could without being noticed. They did this on thier own. One day, while out in the woods, Terevalis heard a cry from the brush. It was one of his comrades, and he was being attacked by a lone wolf. The young boy was no match for the wolf, and was futily kicking it as it lunged in at him, going for a kill. Terevalis searched the ground for something, anything to distract the wolf. He picked up a handfull of stones, and started throwing them at the wolf. He hit the wolf very few times, but was able to cause it enough pain to turn its attention to him. The young elven boy scrambled away, dripping blood. The wolf lunged for Terevalis, but as it was about to hit him, it was struck with an arrow. He watched the wolf fall lifeless to the leafy floor of the forest, as a man strode from the darkness of the trees. Terevalis shrunk back, and watched the man pull an arrow from the side of the wolf's head. It had been a clean kill, one shot. Awed by such pinpoint accuracy with a bow, Terevalis stared at the man, who merely nodded and walked away. He wanted to thank him for saving his life, but with a small flash of blue light...The man was gone. The other children who had heard the screams, and had arrived just in time to see Terevalis staring wide eyed and slack jawed at thin air. The injured boy climbed down from the tree he was in, but he was dazed and has seen nothing. From that day forward, the boys were barred from playing thier tracking game in the woods. They searched to find a new game they could play, and Terevalis had an idea. They decided to play an accuracy game, where they would throw rocks at certain targets measured a certain distance away. If you hit the target, then you got a single "point" and they moved the target further back. The boys all loved to play this game, and they would play it each and every day. At first they were very bad at throwing the rocks, but they got better with each passing day. Even though they were all exceptionally good, Terevalis was the best. No matter what happened, Terevalis always remembered the mysterious man who had saved his life.
When he was old enough to be allowed to use a bow, Terevalis and the other children would practise shooting targets from different lengths away. The boys were becoming adults, and would often get very competitive in the sport. As they practised, they became almost as good as the hunters of thier village. A few months after they started practising with bows, the group of boys were sent out to patrol the forest. They decided to split up and patrol the whole forest, to prove that they would do it faster than the normal hunters. They all came back, and did many patrols of the forest much faster than the hunters. One one particular day, Terevalis heard an odd noise from a small clearing, near the edge of the forest. It was a small boar being chased around by a human boy, who had a dagger in his hand. Angered by the slaughter about to happen, Terevalis notched an arrow to his bow, and prepared to shoot the young human. As he was about to let his arrow fly, he was tackled from behind by one of his comrades, and the arrow narrowly missed the human. The human, startled by the arrow that flew past his nose, looked and saw the elves, and thier uniforms. He ran from the forest back to his own village.
Back at his own village, Terevalis was punished. He was no longer to be sent out alone, for fear of he might do something foolish again.
Sevral weeks passed, and Terevalis always had company with him as he patrolled the forest. One day, he thought he heard voices. His companion had heard them too. They snuck up to the clearing that the small human boy had been chasing the boar in. There were seven human men standing in the clearing, all armed. One of the humans gaze fell across the two elves hiding in the brush. He shouted to his fellow humans and they all looked. They advanced on the two elves with slow determination.
Terevalis nocked an arrow and let it fly, it imbedded itself into one of thier unprotected necks. The rest saw thier friend fall, and shouted a battle cry. The humans all rushed at Terevalis and his friend, who quickly turned to flee. Terevalis turned and ran, but his friend tripped and fell in his haste, and was cut down in second. Running through the forest, shouting warnings to his comrades, telling them that there were enemies, and to come defend thier forest. A few of his friends sprung from the shadows as he ran, and shot two more of the humans. The humans did not falter however, and ran on to cut down two more of his friends. As his comrades were scrambling to join the fray with thier arrows, Terevalis heard a strange noise from above him. He looked up in time to see a figure appear from a blue flash of light, bow in hand. He watched as the figure, who vaugely resembled the figure he has seen so many years ago shot a flurry of arrows into the advancing humans. The arrows he shot blazed with a blue magical light, and cut through thier plate as if it was cloth. Awed by the familliar figure, floating in mid-air and decimating the humans, Terevalis did not notice untill it was too late- A blade swung for his mid-section.
He did not have enough time to dodge, or move out the way.
Darkness consumed him, but it appeared the afterlife was not ready to claim him. Terevalis awoke before a great dragon.

So his adventure begins.

I need a lot more information if you want to play CN. I need to see (in some detail) why your character is CN.
I also need a good amount of more information to be approved for the PrC's, why they fit the character and such.
