- Personality: Conal is the personification of youthful hope and energetic focus. He always seems to have a ready smile and a 'Hail' for those he meets. He has a goal and knows the steps he must take to achieve that goal. He is a very patient elf but has not gained the stoic quiet of an elder of his race. He has a touch of curiousity that can and has at times gotton him into trouble.

- Physical Descriptions: Conal has the characteristic dark hair and skin of his race. It is usually kept in a tight ponytail tied with a leather thong to keep it out of his way. He has the general wood elf short stocky build and his dark skin is covered in tribal tattoos. He has large hands with slender fingers, well worn and calloused from work and toil.

- Relations: Conal is the youngest of three brothers born to mage parents. His brothers are members of the guards of the wood that patrol the Ulambree Forest he called home. His mother and father helped build and maintain many of the magical protections and guardians of that wood. His brothers always said he had a touch of the wild in him and seemed to look down upon his curiosity and gypsy-like nature as almost a birth defect. His brothers had convinced his father not to allow Conal to become a warrior and instead to become a tradesman for the tribe. This did not set well with Conal and he still harbors ill feelings towards his brothers as a result.

- Background: Conal Ashenwood lived the lions share of his 90 years in the Ulambree Forest. He was born to parents whom were both fairly powerful mages. He is the youngest of three brothers and his elder brothers are both mages. Conal found at an early age he had talent for magic but preferred the bow instead. This caused a rift between he and the rest of his family that eventually caused him to leave his home. The night before he was to be apprenticed to a local bootmaker he gathered his meager belongings and left his home. His parents had hoped to apprentice him for a few years and then bring him back home with a new attitude to learn the arcane arts. This of course backfired and they feel guilty over the loss of their youngest son due to their pride and prejudice. Conal has never seen his family since that night and occasionally he will think of them while lying in a glade under the stars.
