Quiet, Dignified, and kind, Arioch Throden is a man who has chosen to spend his life in the shadows.
Born and raised in Pranzis, Arioch was an intelligent and compassionate child whose natural dexterity and curiosity lead him to wander all over the city. He befriended a young noble girl named Marisha in secret at an early age, whom shared his compassion and curiosity. The two of them wandered every inch of the bustling city, performing random acts of kindness to the poorer inhabitants.
Eventually Arioch's wanderlust got the better of him, and he left to explore the lands of Dregar beyond. He found he had natural skills at stealth and agility, encouraged by his reserved nature. His love of animals, nature, and children combined with a strong sense of justice drove him to aid the poor and needy as well as fight evil and tyranny with terror from the shadows. Creatures that spread fear, he reasons, are best fought with fear in return.
Arioch is tall, lithe, and handsome, with blond hair and a tanned complexion. His piercing eyes are alert and miss little. He dresses in black silk and has a natural skill with both the bow and the blade. Neither does he use without good reason.

Can you explain a bit more regarding how he became a ranger (his training, affinity to nature, worship of Katia)?Â

I imagined the Ranger aspect of his training and faith to develop once he had actually left Pranzis to explore the world... (picked up as left the urban(Rogue) based lifestyle that he had been raised in.

If this dosent sound good then I am happy to play him as a straight Rogue. I was actually planning from the beginning for him to eventually lead into the Shadowdancer PrC, but I was not going to worry about that until much later (and after CDQ's of course.)
