After years of passionate effort, our world is so well developed, so detailed, so refined that any of the handbooks, maps, historical accounts, legends, descriptions of artifacts, creature reports, character biographies, short stories, novels, movies and original art which populate these forums can surely serve as resources or inspiration for your own fantasy endeavors, whatever they may be. And our world is endlessly evolving, so resources are frequently added and updated.
There are also years of sage advice and commentary on role-playing, gaming and online community development stored in these forums. If camaraderie is what you seek, we offer that too. Our community is as active and supportive as you're likely to find on the internet. In short, these forums are a resource for you to use for whatever purpose or project brought you here.

| Andesemin "Fire-Eye" Firepurge - L Name: Andesemin “Fire-Eye” Firepurge
Age: 25
Race: Human
Subrace: Tiefling
Class: Fighter/Weapon Master (Greatsword)
Deity: Pyrtechon
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Domains: Not a Cleric, sadly
Bio:
For Andesemin, growing up was not easy. He began his life in Krelin Forest on Vanavar Island. His parents, along with some other Tiefling outcasts had settled there after being thrown out of Pranzis. There were some hot springs nearby, and they were deep holes in the earth. One day, he and another boy in the forest were fighting. By this time, he was thirteen. His Tiefling features had not quite come out yet, and it was unsure if they ever would. Anyway, he and the boy had reached the Hot Springs. They were just at the edge of the forest, near the based of the Broken Mountains. It was a spot only the Tieflings knew about, one they had found when they were first settling there. Andesemin swung a punch at the boy, and hit him clean in the face. The boy knocked him down, and they fought lying on the edge of one of the geysers. A rock was knocked out from underneath Andesemin, and it hit the boiling water in the bottom of the geyser. A great rumble was heard, and he and the boy looked down. The boy, guessing what would happen, leapt off of Andesemin’s back, stepping on him in the process. But Andesemin was a deer in headlights. He was too afraid to move. They geyser shot up, burning the flesh around his face and eyes. They say his cry of agony was heard all the way to Pranzis.
After that day, Andesemin’s skin was black. He could not see, so his eyes were always shut tight. His once-blonde hair, too, was blackened. Little did he know it, but an evil god had plans for him. Growing up, he wore a bandage over his eyes and the area around his neck. He learned to live with being blind, and walked with a cane. Until one day, when he began to see again. The images were merely burning outlines, but he could see! He had been touched by the power of gods, and he knew it. From the look of things, it was Pyrtechon, though Andesemin did not want to admit it. He now walked freely, without the bandages. He kept his eyes open always, and they began to glow with an eerie red light. Andesemin had earned the nickname “Fire-Eye”, but none who called him that knew just how right it was. Pyrtechon now guided his hand, but Fire-Eye was reluctant to do the evil deeds the god often wanted. While he was thankful to the deity for restoring his sight, if only partially, whenever they talked, it was a battle of wills.

| RE: Andesemin "Fire-Eye" Firepurge - L Just while looking at some other submission, I noticed that Pretige classes are often unallowed at character submission. DOes this mean I should remove the Weapon Master class? | | |

Name: Andesemin “Fire-Eye” Firepurge
Age: 25
Race: Human
Subrace: Tiefling
Class: Fighter
Deity: Pyrtechon
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Domains: Not a Cleric, sadly
Bio:
Andesemin FirePurge began his life in Pranzis, where he was born as a regular, plain old human. At least, that's what his parents had hoped for. Shortly after Andesemin's birth, the officials of Pranzis sent an eviction notice to all known Tieflings in the city. For some reason, recent dogmas and beliefs in the local church stated that Tieflings would one day become full demons, and bring terror upon the world in the form of a portal to Hell. The Tieflings were banished from the city and put on a small boat, large enough only to sustain their weight. Andesemin's parents had hoped that since he had no demonic features, he would be allowed to stay at the capital. Unfortunately, just before they were scheduled to leave Pranzis, Andesemin's parents noticed the stubs of horns poking through his scalp. And so did the guards.
A normal life was not for young Firepurge.

Notice I removed the Prestige Class | L's a bit busy, so asked me to take this one from him. Characterstouched by gods like this will not get approved at submission. Also, I think you'd lose a direct battle of wills against a god

Oh well. I just got an idea! How about if I claim that it is the Tiefling demonic blood at work on his eyes?

Please do not have a character with horns. This part needs to be changed.
"Little did he know it, but an evil god had plans for him."
This needs to be dropped and perhaps in game it can be RP'd in that direction but it is very unlike a god is going to take notice on somebody/something so young and unimposing--regardless of tiefling blood.
Once this has all been changed I will approve the character. You will find (if you decide to stick around) that we tend approve characters like this a lot quicker when players have played in the world and been involved in the community for a period of time--and involved in a good way. We are quite histant (past track records from the past few years) to approve something like this for new players.

| RE: Andesemin "Fire-Eye" Firepurge - L Oops, my bad. Consider it fixed!
Heh, don't worry about me sticking around or not. I've planted me roots pretty deeply the Layonarian soil, and I don't plan on relocating anytime soon.

| RE: Andesemin "Fire-Eye" Firepurge - L Alright, with your "consider it changed" I am going to approve this character. Do not play as evil or evil tainted because you are not according to this submission. You have no contact with any deity or anything like that. When you are in game and things are moving foward in an RP method then we can see what happens but please, by all means, do not force it in any way.
Approved.
