I was wondering can I get my other character (Maki) deleted =( because I dunno, I just don't feel like I like him, even though this new character is almost like it >.> but story ish totally different...kind of.

Short Bio/Description: (more like a long one >.>)
When Anault was a child, he was happy. His parents loved him, his sister loved him and they lived in a peaceful home. One day that waas all taken away. One day, three men came to their home, claiming to be part of the government. They were fair skinned and light haired, and they didn't seem to be anything like Anault and his family, who all had horns growing on their heads. Anault's father got into an argument with these three men and they left. Two years later after the incident, the men come back again and this time Anault was old enough to understand what they were saying.
"You can't live here" said one man "It's against the law, we've already given you two years...please leave."
"You and your laws can go to hell." and with that, Anault's father drew his sword. Once that happened though, before he had time to strike, the three men already had killed him, they were amazingly strong and fast.
"Run!" yelled the mother, and Annie, Anault's sister, took him by the hand and ran away. Tears were rolling down their cheeks as they heard their mother cry in pain. The three men ran after the brother and sister. Seeing that they would soon catch up to them, the sister threw her brother into the stream, hoping that the curent will drag him away to a further place. That was the last thing Anault remembered.
When he awoke, he was surrounded by kids his age, also with fair skin and light hair. They were all eyeing him peculiarly, like they've never seen someone like him before. He got up and all of them jumped back, afraid or something. Then one of them spoke.
"Hey look, the freak's awake!" then everyone else laughed. Seeing these people Anault remembered what happened to his family. He started to cry.
"Hey what's the matter freak?" taunted the boy, "Afraid of us?" Another boy spoke up "He doesn't look as scary as our parents described him. Maybe it's just him though" The first boy nodded "Yeah, I bet he's weak too!" and with that they commenced beating him up. Anault blacked out again.
When he awoke again, he was hungry. Seeing how all the kids have left, he decided to go and look for food. Everywhere he walked around town, people seemed to be afraid of him, or even hate him. He had no way of getting food, so he starved for the first night. Same thing for the second night. He though, why am I in this weird place, why are they so mean to me. He remembered his parents. He willed himself to get some food and he went around town asking. Nobody would give him any so he used his final option, stealing. For a couple of years, he lived that way, stealing and hiding within the darkness. Many people tried to catch him, but it was impossible, he was too nimble for them.
One day, maybe it was a bad luck day for Anault, but he went on his usual 'raids' to get food. Maybe he stole from the wrong people, or maybe they were all there waiting for him. As he was leaving the place, a bunch of guards came out of no where. Before he could pull out his dagger, they caught him by the shirt and repeatedly hurt him. Nothing lethal though. There was one guard who didn't join in, he was just watching, trying to stop the others even, but he didn't suceed. They left Anault alone after that.
While he was walking back to his den, he saw a family playing on the streets. Oh how happy they were. Something inside him snapped, and he started yelling at them. They were afraid and ran back inside their homes. He remembred his family, and thought that if he had enough power back then, he could've changed things.
"I like your eyes, your hate." said a man behind Anault. He swirved around quickly, getting ready to fight, but when he turned around, he saw that this man also had horns just like him. He'd never seen another lik him in this town. "Because they don't understand us, they are afraid of us, and even hate us. The Aasimar. Even though we are their brothers in a way, they will hate us." The man looked Anault in the eye. "A..Aasimar?" questioned Anault "Are they the same people who attackd me before? They looked just like those people." The man thought for a bit, "No, they don't attack innocent people or unarmed, maybe just people that looked like them attacked you." replied the man as he held out his hand. "Come," said the man, "You want power, I can give it to you, I will teach you things you never thought were possible, and then, if you wish, you can extract your revenge."
Anault took the man's hand and he joined an army, Bloodstone's Army. When he was there, he learned the ways of the sword, now being able to kill people with it, sever limbs, decapitate. He also learned spells of enchantment, being able to make his blade keener, able to make himself ablt to concentrate better, therefore his accuracy increasing, and being able to hold other people in their place. With these skills, he killed people, and soaked his hands and blade in blood of hundreds.
One day the man who recruited him disapeared, leaving behind a note that he had urgent business to take care of, and that everybody should be able to take care of themselves now. With the recruiter gone, people started doing as they wish. Some left to do things, coming back months later. Anault also went on a journey, to go back to the town where the guards beat him. It'd been 10 years since he left that town, he wondered if they would remember him.
When he got there, he hid his face behind a helmet, so others wouldn't be afraid of him, but he was all clad in black and had a hateful aura around him, so people were still scared. He finally reached where the guards were, and he knocked on the door. Someone opened the door, and Anault looked into his face, he'd grown older but he remembred him, the kid who beat him up when he first awoke in this strange new land. Before he could speak, Anault drew his sword and stabbed him through the chest and kicked the dead body down. Ever other guard in the place jumped up and drew their weapons, but they were no match for him. Anault killed all but one person.
"You," said Anault, "You were the one who tried to stop your comrades from hurting me, for that I won't kill you." The man looked puzzled and Anault pulled off his helmet. The man was looking at him hard, trying to recall a memory, and finally he did. "You! Why did you do all this horrible things?" He questioned Anault, "Why kill all these people? just because they've hurt you in the past?" Anault was furious "Watch what you're saying, I will kill you if you continue on." replied Anault. "You didn't kill me before, that means you have a good heart, change your ways!" Anault ignored him and with that, he left and journeyed back to base.
When he arived arrived, there were many people killed outside. He ran to the closest person, he was already dead. Anault heard a cough and he turned around. "Ah, Anault, you're back." said Shijo, a comrade of Anault. "What happened?!" asked Anault. "Well," replied Shijo, "With most of the people gone adventuring like you, there were few of us to defend against the might of some warriors that attacked us. They're still inside." with that, Shijo coughed up blood, "Don't go in," said Shijo, while holding Anault down," They're strong. Just leave us, and forget about this place, forget that you were here. You've always had a good heart," there was a pause. "Just go and start a new life, don't kill anymore." Anault heard sometihng behind him and turned around, there he saw the three people that had attacked his family...he had always remembered them. "GO!" yelled Shijo, and shoved Anault out of the way.
He ran, he was afraid, he had to run away before he died. Fear was overtaking him as he ran and ran. He stopped though, realizing what he was doing. He was running away just like he was 12 years ago when his family was being killed. He wasn't going to stand here and let his friends get killed now. "All these years, I've been wanting to kill these people, this is the chance!" He turned around and ran back, "Don't die Shijo! Don't you dare die on me" yeled Anault as he sprinted back towards base.
When he arrived, Shijo was sprawled backwards on the ground. "You!" yelled Anault while pointing at the three men, "you've killed my family, my friends, and now you will pay!" The men laughed. One of them spoke up, "All these years, we've searched for a person to kill us. We've sinned so much and we've broken our vows as Paladin's, but the question is...can you be the one to kill us?" Anault sprinted towards one, and broke their shield, then he paralyzed him and stabbed him through the heart. Another approached him from behind and Anault swirved around and decapitated him. The last man laughs "So I'm the only one left. I have no doubt that you can kill me, but before you do kid, don't be like us in the end. Be a new man, a changed man, repent for your sins." Anault killed the last man too.
He dug graves for everyone, even the three men. He reflected on what he has done so far in his life. "You didn't kill me before, that means you have a good heart, change your ways!" echoed the man at the guard station. "Just leave us, and forget about this place, forget that you were here. You've always had a good heart, just go and start a new life, don't kill anymore." Shijo's last words echoed through his mind also. "Before you do kid, don't be like us in the end. Be a new man, a changed man, repent for your sins." The fallen Paladin's last words. He reflected for a long time, and he'd come to a conclusion. It was that he didn't wan to kill anymore. All that he did had no purpose. They say revenge is bittersweet, and after it, you feel empty inside.
When the recruiter came back, he saw all these graves, but there was no sign of Anault. ( that was long..2 pages front and back >.>) |
