Long before Azuir was born a feud between two bitterly divided houses of Sun Elves broke out. The original incident has long faded to the current rhetoric ,it was likely over some manner of tradition, but even now the feud between the two still continues. At one point many years ago at the request of an elder mediator the houses each chose two exceptional individuals that were to be wed and bring an end to the feud, this in time lead to the birth of Azuir.

Azuir was born with deep blue eyes and coppery hair and some had speculated at the time that her hair represents the blood spilled(or yet to be spilled) in the conflict between the houses. Her early childhood was a pleasant if somewhat chaotic time with occasional spats between the two houses. During this period she inherited her father's great skill of archery and her mother's love of nature. As time went on Azuir became increasingly more and more adept at "walking the thin line" between two sides of her family. However it started becoming more and more difficult to maintain the peace between the two houses as tradition was often being used as tools in their conflict. Both families started focusing on winning Azuir allegiances over to their side around her 18th year generating a large amount of tension which eventually came to a climax at a festival during her 37th year when an maternal uncle was poisoned and a conflict soon ensued. It was at this point Azuir turned her back on both houses and fled into the forest.

At first surviving in the wild was a struggle. However early in her 7th season in the forest Azuir discovered a Druid grove in one of her travels and learned what would eventually be one of many lessons from the Druids. The environment being so different from the precarious one she was used to Azuir soon became enamored with daily life and later decided to stay and train in druidic ways. Azuir dwelled in the grove for several decades but now has left wandering (or escaping) for in recent years one of her close friend was killed by a over-zealous human mercenary hired by one of her families to locate her. This has only deepened her mistrust of the intentions of both her houses and has encouraged her to take a false surname in hopes of avoiding further encounters.

Personality:
As a result of years of mediating between her two families Azuir today almost always will advise a compromise or in situations when that seems unlikely, will take no position at all. While still trusting and valuing the Traditional Sun Elf customs, and now several Druidic customs, she is always a bit wary of the underlying political motivations behind them. Azuir tends to not reveal any firm details about herself in the fear that information about her might leak back to either house and would attract attention to her once again.
